Abstract: The present invention relates to a voltage mode class-S amplifier with an impedance control circuit, capable of highly controlling the impedance of a harmonic signal and applying the impedance to a communications signal with high efficiency in a voltage mode class-S amplifier structure. The voltage mode class-S amplifier including the impedance control circuit for removing harmonics according to the present invention includes a BPDSM which converts an RF input signal into a PWM signal; a switching power amplifier which amplifies the PWM signal; and a band-pass filter which removes the harmonics from the amplified signal. The impedance control circuit which matches load impedance with the characteristic impedance of a natural frequency band is additionally connected to the band pass filter.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a tunable power amplifier. The tunable power amplifier according to the present invention amplifies the power of an LTE signal with high efficiency. According to the present invention, the efficiency of the amplifier is improved by maximally maintaining a pulse waveform of the LTE signal converted into a pulse signal and amplifying the pulse waveform. Specially, the efficiency is additionally improved by applying a high efficiency method of a class F structure. An optimum amplification feature is obtained by obtaining optimal matching according to a bias condition by a dual supply injection.
