Abstract:
본 발명은 휴대폰 단말기가 멀티미디어 서버로부터 멀티미디어 스트리밍 서비스를 받을 때 휴대폰 단말기의 시스템 환경에 적당한 서비스를 받을 수 있도록 하는 기술에 관한 것이다. 이러한 본 발명은, 사용자의 요구에 따라 멀티미디어 서버로부터 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 수신받기 위해 SIP 메시지를 전송할 때 단말기 정보를 포함시켜 전송하는 휴대폰 단말기와; 상기 휴대폰 단말기에서 전송되는 SIP 메시지를 상기 멀티미디어 서버에 전달하거나, 그 멀티미디어 서버로부터 전송되는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 휴대폰 단말기에 전송하기 위한 SIP 프락시 서버 및, SIP 기반 통신망과; 상기 SIP 프락시 서버 및, SIP 기반 통신망을 통해 수신된 SIP 메시지를 분석하여 상기 단말기 정보를 추출하고, 그 추출 결과에 상응되는 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 선택하여 상기 휴대폰 단말기 측으로 전송하는 멀티미디어 서버를 포함하여 구성함을 특징으로 한다. 멀티미디어 스트리밍, SIP 메시지, 단말기

PURPOSE: A video transmitting system method, an audio receiving system and a method thereof are provided to solve a service blocking problem of a VoD(Video-on-Demand) which is available when burst or compensate a request about constant video by using unicast schema. CONSTITUTION: A video transmitting system(200) includes a multicast video determining unit(210), a video transmitting unit(220). The multicast video determining unit determines multicast among a plurality of videos based on requesting history about the video. PURPOSE: A media mediator system is provided to efficiently broaden content users by providing the content to other service user after converting the uploaded content into other platform. CONSTITUTION: A service manager(610) receives metadata of a content from a content provider. A metadata manager(620) registers the content using the meta data. The metadata manager stores the metadata of the registered content. A DB manager(630) stores, and manages information about the content. An encoding manager(640) schedules the encoding order of the content.

PURPOSE: A system and a method for setting favorable impression of content are provided to supply personalized information of a user about content through a new route by recording whether favorable impression exists or not about a scene or a clip of content. CONSTITUTION: An interface module(110) inputs a favorable signal or a unfavorable signal about a contents during reproduction through an interface with a user. A content capture module(120) captures a scene or an interval of an point which a favorable signal or unfavorable signal is inputted. A content storing module(130) relates the capture scene or an interval with favorable information according to the favorable signal or the unfavorable signal. The contents storing module store the related information.

PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having a multi-interface and a method for receiving multimedia streaming, a server and a method for providing multimedia streaming using a multi-network are provided to enhance the efficiency in streaming transmission by supporting a multimedia streaming service. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(110) accesses a multimedia streaming provision server(130) to download and reproduce user-desirable contents. The mobile terminal comprises: an access unit(111) which includes interfaces(111_1 to 111_n) and provides a multi-access interface; an access information reception unit(112) which receives access information from each access network(120_1 to 120_n) connected to the interfaces; an access information transmission unit(113) which transmits the access information of the access network to the multimedia streaming provision server when a download request command for the multimedia contents is received from a user; and a content reception unit which receives from the multimedia streaming provision server not only a response signal to the download request command but also the multimedia contents.

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for differentially providing quality of a service of multicast are provided to make a user feel the transmission delay of the packet less by adjusting a packet transmission time by corresponding to a receiving target number of packets. CONSTITUTION: A packet monitoring unit(103) senses the transmission and reception amount of packet of different nodes, and a delay time selector(101) sets up a maximum delay time by corresponding to the reception amount. The delay time selection unit selects the delay time at random within the range of maximum delay time. If the delay time is 0, a packet transmitter(102) transmits the packet. If the packet is not transmitted from another node, a delay time controller(104) decrease the delay time every time.

PURPOSE: An IPTV control device based on inter-terminal communication is provided, which utilizes personal digital assistant as a control means of an IPTV terminal device, and facilitates user interface environment to an IPTV terminal device. CONSTITUTION: An IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) control device(130) contains a communications module(210), an information receiving unit(220), and control module(230). The communication module keeps connection with an IPTV terminal device. The IPTV terminal device reproduces IPTV contents. The information receiving part receives reproduction information related to reproduction of the IPTV contents from the IPTV terminal device. The control module controls the production of the IPTV contents based on the reproduction information.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A network congestion control device and a method thereof are provided to apply a weight random early detection technique to multicast traffic by applying different drop possibilities based on the load number of multicast traffic. CONSTITUTION: A multicast traffic management unit(120) checks average queue size and multicast load number. According to the multicast load number, a packet division unit(130) divides packets. A packet drop unit(140) receives the divided packets. The packet drop unit inputs packets which are not dropped to a queue by applying different drop probabilities.
