PURPOSE: An augmented broadcast content receiving method, a device thereof, an augmented content providing method, a device thereof, and an augmented content providing system thereof are provided to supply a text balloon image of a character in broadcast content corresponding to the selection and preference of a viewer or to visually present a score of background music, thereby increasing quality of a broadcast program. CONSTITUTION: A receiving device receives a broadcast stream, which includes broadcast content and metadata, from a server(S310). The receiving device transmits an augmented content request to an augmented content providing device and receives augmented content from the augmented content providing device(S330,S350). CONSTITUTION: An augmented content providing device verifies a user according to a request of an augmented content receiving device(S510,S520). When the user is verified, the augmented content providing device confirms applied broadcasting content by analyzing the request(S540). The augmented content providing device searches a storage unit for local information-based augmented content about a place including the receiving device(S550). PURPOSE: Lawful interception apparatus and method are provided to transfer communication contents of a target without loss to an interception requesting institution regardless of the handover or the roaming of the target. CONSTITUTION: An interception target confirming part(1263) confirms an interception target by requesting a trusted server which is authorized in lawful interception by a legal execution server. If a terminal is the interception target, an intercepting part(1264) intercepts communication traffic related to the terminal. An information receiving part(1261) receives information for requesting the confirmation of interception from the terminal. The interception target confirming part transfers information for requesting the confirmation of interception to the trusted server to confirm the interception target.

An apparatus and a method for managing traffic by using a VID(VLAN(Virtual LAN) Identification) in an EPON(Ethernet Passive Optical Network) are provided to allow a general commercialized switch or router to smoothly perform traffic management for numerous subscribers and subscriber services. A MAC lookup table(15) matches VIDs to be used within an EPON by MAC address and managing them. A service classification policy table(20) stores service classification references corresponding to service control parameters of each VID. A service control policy table(25) stores service policies to be provided according to each classified service. When a downlink packet is inputted, a MAC look-up module(30) looks up a VID corresponding to a MAC address of the corresponding downlink packet by referring to the MAC look-up table(15). The first service classifying module(35) classifies a VID service class of the downlink packet. The first service control module(40) provides a service of a downlink transmission flow according to the classified VID service class. A VID study module(50) studies VIDs through a packet frame of an uplink packet and updates the MAC look-up table(15). The second service classifying module(55) classifies a VID service class of the uplink packet. The second service control module(60) requests a service according to the classified VID service class in case of an uplink transmission flow.

PURPOSE: A device for supplying a narrowband service in an ATM-PON(Passive Optical Network) system is provided to install a V5 processor in an OLT(Optical Line Termination), and to assign a narrowband service subscriber channel to an ONU(Optical Network Unit), thereby implementing a small and low-cost optical subscriber device when designing the ONU. CONSTITUTION: A PSTN interface block(101) transceives a signal with a PSTN exchange(102), forms an STM(Synchronous Transfer Module)-1 or an STM-4 interface structure with a B-ISDN interface block in an OLT(103), consists of PSTN interface devices(1011,1012,1013), and consists of an STM interface device(1014) for forming the STM-1 or the STM-4 interface structure with the B-ISDN interface block. PURPOSE: A time domain equalizer of a VDSL transmission system is provided which effectively reduces the amount of hardware and guarantees compatibility with asymmetric digital subscriber line transmission systems. CONSTITUTION: A time domain equalizer of a VDSL transmission system is constructed in a manner that time domain equalizers by signal bands are serially connected for signal bands obtained by dividing the entire signal band. A time domain equalizer(42) for a high frequency signal band and a time domain equalizer(41) for a low frequency signal band are serially connected. The time domain equalizer for a high frequency signal band and the time domain equalizer for a low frequency signal band obtain the signal bands using an algorithm for reducing a channel impulse response length. The time domain equalizer for a low frequency signal band connects a shift register between tabs to decrease data loss.
