Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for transmitting network path information using a path setup message is provided to obtain information related to the existing path in setting a new path by transmitting path information sharing each link on the new path. CONSTITUTION: An ingress node calculates the shortest path P1 between the ingress node and an egress node(401). The ingress node generates a path setup request message for setting up the P1 to transmit the path setup request message to a next node on the P1(402). Each node on the P1 searches a path information table for another path ID(403). Path information sharing a link with the next node is added to a sharing path route TVL(Type-Length-Value)(404). The path setup request message is transmitted to a next node on the P1(405). It is examined whether the node receiving the path setup request message is the egress node on the P1(406) or not. If so, the egress node generates a path setup response message(407). The sharing path route TVL is added to the generated path setup response message(408). The path setup response message is transmitted to the ingress node through each node on the P1(409). Each node receiving the path setup response message adds P1 information to a path information table of the node(410). The ingress node finally receiving the path setup response message obtains information related to another path passing the link on the P1(411).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A communication system efficiently managing protocol traffic management information and a method therefor are provided to classify objects managed in a network management agent by interface according to object characteristics. CONSTITUTION: If a received packet is received from a peer host, a management board(20) analyzes the received packet to update protocol traffic information that is not managed by interface, and analyzes a response packet if the received packet is the response packet for a protocol traffic information request, then processes a request from an external network management system. When the packet is received from the peer host, many interface boards(40) transmit the packet, classify and update management information by analyzing the packet, transmit the packet to the peer host according to a kind of the packet, update or collect the management information to supply the information to the management board(20).

PURPOSE: A network management system for managing a failure and a state of a router system is provided to define a private MIB(Management Information Base) that can supply events on a failure and a changed state of hardware/software shapes to a manager, so that the manager can exactly perceive shape information of a management target system. CONSTITUTION: An SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) network management agent(310) generates a substantial MIB by collecting shape information of a router system, generates an interface MIB, and generates a private MIB by collecting state information and fault generation information by shape, then stores the generated MIBs. The SNMP network management agent(310) supplies requested information or informs an outer side of a generated failure by referring to the MIBs. A network management manager server(200) receives the MIB information by communicating with the SNMP network management agent(310), and stores the received information as network management information in a database. A network management manager client(100) receives the MIB information from the network management manager server(200), and extracts the network management information of a requested router system.

PURPOSE: A method for realizing a function of remote network monitoring of a high-fast router system and a device therefor, and a recording medium where a program executing the same is recorded are provided to enable a network manage of a remote place access data generated by local operators. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of RMON APPs(Remote Monitoring Applications)(201) which execute specific remote network monitoring functions store process results of executing the functions, and construct data corresponding to necessary data for transmitting the same to a plurality of RMDB(Remote Monitoring Database) clients(202). The RMDB clients(202) reconstruct the transmitted data as a message type which is exchangeable between RMDB servers(203), and transmits the reconstructed data to the RMDB server(203). The RMDB server(203) executes a function corresponding to the received message. The RMDB clients(202) transmit the message received from the RMDB servers(203) to the RMON APPs(201). The RMON APPs(201) transmit the result corresponding to the same to a local operation terminal(110) or a remote operation terminal(140).

PURPOSE: A router for providing differentiated QoS(Quality of Service) service and a method for classifying IP packets at a high speed are provided to maximize the performance of packet classification by minimizing the operation loads generated due to packet classification in the process of routing. CONSTITUTION: A packet classifier(60) is composed of a search path part(610) and a control part(690). The search path part(610) determines relevant flow processing by searching flow tables for each inputted packet, and comprises a multi-field search key extraction part(620), a differentiated class classifier(630), differentiated class flow table searchers(641-64m), an on-chip memory(660) containing differentiated class flow tables(661-66m), and differentiated class off-chip memory interfaces(681-68m). The multi-field search key extraction part(620) extracts multi-field information from an inputted packet and creates a multi-field search key. The differentiated class classifier(630) executes differentiated class classification by an exact matching method, based on the value of a differentiated service code point field contained in the created multi-field search key. The differentiated class flow table searchers(641-64m) execute searching for associated flow tables(661-66m) in parallel according to classified differentiated classes. In case that flow table searching at the on-chip memory(660) is not successful, the differentiated class off-chip memory interfaces(681-68m) receive search requests from differentiated class flow table searchers(641-64m) and search the flow tables constructed at an off-chip memory.

PURPOSE: A method for offering differentiated service through programmable interface on open network is provided to use an internet service conveniently and variously by classifying a property of packet into a plurality of grades. CONSTITUTION: A classifier(400) inspects a packet inputted from an input port(10) according to a PHB(Per Hop Behavior), and transports the packet to a corresponding queue(416) and a corresponding meter(411) according to a DSCP(Differentiated Service Code Point). A plurality of traffic control blocks perform a reclassification by service class on the basis of the DSCP bit. A scheduler(420) calls the packet selectively, performs a routing process with a weight corresponding to a service, and transports the packet to an output port(20).

PURPOSE: A method for managing configuration and interface information in a high-speed router system is provided to enable an operator not to perform a feedback process of system information at a re-initialization by managing system configuration information necessary for operating a router and to manage a system effectively and process commands as a search/modification/appendix/deletion with respect to system configuration information being transmitted an operator terminal and a manager system connected to the system by maintaining a system configuration and interface information. CONSTITUTION: If an initialization request of a system configuration management unit being operated in a main processor from an operating system is received for managing a configuration and interface information of a high speed router system(401), the system configuration management unit reads various kinds of tables being managed in the main processor from a registry, and performs an initialization(402). Hardware configuration information of the main processor is received from a main hardware control unit(403), and registered in a system configuration management table(404). If interface initialization information is requested to a configuration management matching unit being operated in a line processor(405) and the initialization information is received(406), the corresponding interface information is registered on an interface management table of the main processor(407). After constituting information of various kinds of tables as the above processes, a wait is performed for processing a message being received from the operator or a network manager(408). If a system configuration information search request is received from the operator(415), contents of a command of the operator are analyzed(416), the corresponding contents are searched in a configuration information table(417), a message formatting for outputting the corresponding configuration information is performed(418), the corresponding configuration information is outputted(419), and a wait is performed for receiving a message(408).

본 발명은 차세대 지능망(AIN)에서 지능형 정보제공 시스템(IP)이 서비스 이용자에게 음성 안내, 음성 녹음, 디지트 수집 기능을 제공하는데 필요한 특수 자원 보드를 제어하는 프로세서(SRCP)에서 운용되는 프로그램들의 교체방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서는 운용자로부터의 새 패키지 교체 덤프 요구를 처리하여 알려준다. 그리고 덤프한 후, 운용자로부터 SRCP 재시동 요구가 있으면, 프로세서가 정상인지를 검사하여 정상이면 재시동 처리를 하고, 그 결과를 OK로 한후 재시동 결과를 운용자에게 통보한다. 이와 같이 수행함으로써, 본 발명은 종래기술과 같이 복잡한 절차를 거치지 않고 시스템 운용자가 운용 단말에서 운용 명령어를 통해 쉽게 특수 자원 제어 프로세서에서 수행되는 프로그램을 교체하는 방법을 수행한다.

PURPOSE: A method for providing an inspection agency service is provided to measure a meter of a user without an inspector by an agency server of an inspection agency company. CONSTITUTION: A service processing process is started(201), a connection setting, a member ID, a password of an AO/DI terminal, a computer, and a digital gauge in an inspection system are initialized by performing an inspection system initialization(202). An ISDN D-channel X.25 SVC is connected with an inspection agency server(203). A PPP connection procedure is performed for transmitting packet data(204). A network connection with the inspection agency server is confirmed(205), and if the network connection is abnormal, a service is terminated and maintenance of the inspection system(206) and a server connection procedure are performed. If the network connection is normal, a periodical timer is set in accordance with a gas inspection date, a water inspection date, an electricity inspection date(207), and an inspection request from the inspection agency server is waited(208). If the inspection request is received(209), the inspection system stores digital data measured by the digital gauge in a buffer memory(210), and the digital data are transmitted to the inspection agency server, and an inspection request from the inspection agency server is waited.
