본 발명은 사적 이용 범위 내에 속하는 단말을 등록 및 관리하는 마스터 단말과 그를 이용한 사적 이용 관리 방법 및 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 사적 이용 범위 내에 속하는 단말을 등록 및 관리하는 마스터 단말의 사적 이용 그룹 관리 방법에 있어서, 상기 사적 이용 범위 내에 속하는 타 마스터 단말에 사적 이용 그룹 정보를 요청하는 단계; 상기 타 마스터 단말로부터 상기 사적 이용 그룹 정보를 수신하는 단계; 및 수신된 상기 사적 이용 그룹 정보를 이용하여, 상기 사적 이용 범위 내에 속하는 단말을 사적 이용 그룹으로 등록받는 단계를 포함한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 사적 이용 범위 내에 속하는 복수의 마스터 단말 간에 사적 이용 그룹 정보를 공유할 수 있으므로, 동일한 사적 이용 범위 내에 복수의 마스터 단말이 존재하더라도 동일한 사적 이용 그룹 정보를 통해 단말을 등록받을 수 있다. 사적 이용 범위, 마스터 단말, 사적 이용 그룹, 사적 이용 그룹 정보
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A packetized method of a video stream and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce overhead by efficiently packetizing digital broadcasting stream. CONSTITUTION: A video frame check block(301) classifies an encoded video stream according to the kind of a frame. A header setup block(302) sets up a packet header. The packet header includes a filed for indicating the kind of the frame. A packetized block(303) packetizes a video frame based on the set packet header. The frame is an I(Intra-coded) frame, a P(Predicted) frame, or a B(Bi-predictive) frame.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A stereoscopic 3DTV broadcasting service method compatible with an HDTV broadcasting service and a device thereof are provided to supply compatibility between an existing HD broadcasting service and a stereoscopic 3DTV broadcasting service using a program map table. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting service providing device distinguishes a broadcasting service based on a broadcasting service type(101). The broadcasting service type includes a frame-compatible service and a service-compatible service. The broadcasting service providing device provides compatibility between a 3D broadcasting service and a single stream based broadcasting service(102). The single stream based broadcasting service is a 2D HD(High Definition) broadcasting service.

PURPOSE: A digital broadcast program recording method, a device thereof, and a system thereof are provided to control broadcast program recording through program protection signals in broadcast programs and to protect broadcast program contents by encrypting the broadcast programs which include protection information. CONSTITUTION: A broadcast program recording system extracts a program protection signal from an inputted broadcast program(304). The broadcast program recording system checks protection information of the broadcast program from the program protection signal(306). When recording the broadcast program, the broadcast program recording system decides encryption depending on the protection information(308). If encryption information in the protection information is valid, the broadcast program recording system encrypts the broadcast program.

A method and a system for correcting PSI(Program Specific Information)/PSIP(Program And System Information Protocol) of a digital broadcasting program are provided to apply protection information to a correct logical and physical position of the program when a digital broadcasting terminal receives and stores the program. A PSI/PSIP recognizer(101) recognizes PSI or PSIP of a program. A PSI/PSIP selector(102) selects the PSI or PSIP escaped from a section, which is occupied by the program, from the recognized PSI or PSIP. A PSI/PSIP position corrector(103) corrects the selected PSI or PSIP to locate the position of the selected PSI or PSIP in the section occupied by the program.

A method and a system for recording digital broadcasting contents intelligently are provided to offer a quickly recording function in response to a recording request when a user requests recording during or after viewing the digital broadcasting contents. A broadcasting contents buffering unit(101) buffers a first part of digital broadcasting contents from a time point receiving the digital broadcasting contents to a first buffer and buffers a second part before the time point to a second buffer. A broadcasting contents storing unit(102) generates and stores combined digital broadcasting contents to a third buffer by combining the first and second part. A broadcast contents recording unit(103) records the digital broadcasting contents stored in the third buffer to a database assigned to a user by receiving a recording request from the user.

An apparatus for editing/producing terrestrial DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) contents and a system for providing interactive terrestrial DMB contents by using the apparatus are provided to convert terrestrial digital TV contents into terrestrial DMB contents and edit/produce terrestrial DMB contents according to user's edition and production information such that a user personally edits and produces terrestrial DMB contents. A system for providing interactive terrestrial DMB contents includes a terrestrial DMB content converter(10), a terrestrial DMB content editing/producing unit(20), a terrestrial DMB content storage unit(30), and a terrestrial DMB content transmitter(40). The terrestrial DMB content converter converts terrestrial digital TV contents into terrestrial DMB contents. The terrestrial DMB content editing/producing unit provides an interface such that a user edits/produces interactive terrestrial DMB contents, and edits and produces the interactive terrestrial DMB contents according to temporal/spatial arrangement and motion events of objects on the basis of edition and production information of the user, which is inputted through the interface. The terrestrial DMB content storage unit stores the interactive terrestrial DMB contents. The terrestrial DMB content transmitter transmits the interactive terrestrial DMB contents in a terrestrial DMB transmission format according to a transmission schedule.

An apparatus and a method for changing additional data are provided to change the attribute or feature of additional data included in a received digital broadcasting stream to convert the additional data into data that a user wants. An apparatus for changing additional data includes a receiver, an additional data decoder(11), an additional data change information storage unit(13), and an additional data processor(12). The receiver receives a digital broadcasting signal. The additional data decoder decodes additional data included in the received digital broadcasting signal. The additional data change information storage unit stores change information on additional data that a user wants to change. The additional data processor processes the additional data decoded by the additional data decoder by using the additional data change information stored in the additional data change information storage unit.
