    Abstract: PURPOSE: A curtain rail for a vehicle is provided to promote comfortable riding by preventing moving of sliders during traveling. CONSTITUTION: A curtain rail for a vehicle comprises a rail body(1) fixed to a body of the upper part of a window glass, and plural sliders(10) slidably supported to the rail body. The rail body forms a cavity(2) inside and a guide groove(3) in the floor of the cavity, and separation-preventing plates are installed at both ends of the rail body. Rollers(12,12') sliding while rotating along the floor of the cavity, are supported to the upper part of a slider body(11), with a pin(13) and the lower parts are withdrawn to the guide groove and a ring(14) is installed at the end. The slider body is lifted by forming an elliptical groove(30) around the pin of the upper part of the slider body. Both ends of a coil spring(32) are supported to the ceiling of a spring-housing chamber(31) and to the pin. The spring-housing chamber is formed to the upper part of the pin, to be communicated with the elliptical groove. A stop plate is formed to the lower part of the slider body.

After assembling of the protecting pipe(38) and the connecting pipe(32), if they are separated by force, they are broken down in the vulnerable ending portion(41) and only the connecting pipe portion is connected to the connecting pipe(32) in reassembling. But the screw connection is carried out again because the screw portion(40) is formed in the protecting pipe(38) and the connecting pipe(32).
