    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for controlling downshift from a second speed to a first speed of an automatic transmission is provided to realize the stable and soft shift feeling by minimizing the torque change of an output shaft without the increase of turbine RPM. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling downshift from a second speed to a first speed comprises the steps of deciding the output of a power-off downshift control signal(S100), deciding the output of a brake switch on signal(S110), deciding if turbine RPM(Nt) and output shaft RPM(No) are zero(S120,S130), deciding the stoppage of a vehicle(S140), outputting a solenoid valve driving signal to a drive unit to engage a shift range to a first speed if a vehicle is stopped over a reference time(S150), and outputting a solenoid valve on/off driving control signal to the drive unit to disengage a second speed after the predetermined time is elapsed(S160). According to the value on/off driving control signal, a second brake solenoid valve is turned on to unengaged the second speed gear ratio. Therefore, the torque change of the output shaft is minimized.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A connecting clutch of a first speed transmission of forward moving during a backward moving is connected smoothly without a severe rocking or a connection shock to stabilize a transmission. CONSTITUTION: A driving state sensing member(10) receives signals variable by the driving state of the automobile, and outputs a corresponding electrical signal. A control member(20) receives the outputted signal of the driving state sensing member(10). If a transmission control signal while forward-moving first speed transmission during a rear moving is outputted, the control member(20) feedback controls a turbine rotation changing rate to converge to an object turbine rotation changing rate. When the rotation change of the turbine changes from a forward direction to a backward direction by an increase of a corresponding torque of the connecting side, the turbine rotation change rate is multiplied with a minus value after the turbine rotation change rate changes from a minus value to a plus value to feedback control the connection side clutch. A driving member(30) connects the connection side clutch according to a duty control signal outputted by the control member(20).

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A controlling method of an automatic transmission controls a release side friction factor with a lower hydraulic pressure in a power on up shift speed change in a running car. CONSTITUTION: A controlling method of an automatic transmission comprises 5 sections. The first section outputs a power on up shift duty controlling signal, if a power on up shift speed change controlling signal in running car is approved. The second section compares and judges that the number of a turbine rotation detected according to the power on up shift duty controlling signal outputted at the first section. The third section controls a duty with an open roof until a turbine variation ratio diminishes than zero. The fourth section controls a feedback duty. The fifth section finishes a feedback duty control and a duty control if the turbine variation ratio is zero. Therefore, the controlling method of an automatic transmission prevents a run-up shock, thereby increasing a riding sense.
