    Abstract: En un procedimiento para esterificar ácido (met)acrílico con un alcanol en presencia de un catalizador de esterificacion ácido, en donde compuestos iniciales no convertidos y los (met)acrilatos a formar se separan mediante destilacion y se forma un producto de fondo que contiene oxiésteres, el producto de fondo se separa y se calienta en presencia de un ácido a una temperatura de 150-250 degree C, y se ajusta la presion de tal manera que los productos de disociacion formado bajo las condiciones antes mencionadas a partir de los oxiésteres contenidos en el producto de fondo se evaporen directamente. El procedimiento puede realizarse en presencia de oxígeno molecular. Acidos minerales, por ejemplo ácido sulfurico o ácido fosforico y/o ácidos alcansulfonico o arilsulfonico, por ejemplo, ácido metansulfonico o ácido p-toluensulfonico, pueden agregarse al producto de fondo.

    Abstract: An essentially upright circular mixing tank (1) holds a charge of two or more fluids which are agitated by a central mixer (2), setting up a down-flow at the center which is reversed at the base, rising up the tank inner walls. The motion creates a trumpet-shaped center depression in the fluid surface. The motion creates a trumpet-shaped center depression in the fluid surface. The sidewalls have especially a number of radial baffle vanes (3) between the surface of the liquid at rest and the crest of the liquid under mixing conditions, redirecting some of the flow of liquid downwards towards the tank center. The baffle vanes are at regular intervals around the wall and spaced to minimize mutual interference in the fluid flow. Each baffle redirects flow at an angle of approximately 20 deg downwards from the horizontal. The vanes are fixed to a ring clamp which is height-adjustable on upright rods within the tank. The tank has preferably a cambered cone on the base center promoting reversal of the down-flow at the center.
