    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control rise in temperature of a recording element substrate by preventing corrosion of a heat radiation component by a method wherein a part or the whole of four directional end faces of the recording element substrate is brought in contact with the heat radiation component. SOLUTION: A heating resistant element layer, wiring, etc., are patterned on a silicon wafer by a photolitho technique, a nozzle wall and a discharge opening 2 are formed of photosensitive resin, and a recording liquid feed route 6 is formed by anisotropic etching to form a recording element substrate. The recording element substrate 1 is connected to a wiring substrate 4 for receiving a recording signal. Further, the recording element substrate 1 is connected to a molding component 7 forming the recording liquid feed route 6 to form an ink jet recording head. The recording element substrate 1 comes to have a structure of being enclosed with a heat radiation component 8, and rise in temperature of the recording element substrate 1 is prevented. Further, since all the rear face is fixed to the molding component 7 by bonding, possibility of corrosion caused by recording liquid of the heat radiation component 8 is entirely gone.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To achieve the compact housing of a tank and to prevent the leakage of a liquid from a joint part while achieving simple operation at the time of conversion by providing a replaceable tank adjacent on a carriage, the means capable of being inserted in and extracted from the tank wherein an internal liquid storage region is arranged above an internal liquid introducing part and a liquid sensing means. CONSTITUTION: Since a recording head 14 itself is small-sized in an ink jet recording apparatus, if a tank is set to a separation and replacement system, the constitution almost embedded in a carriage 12 is enabled and a vertical space is not sacrificed. When a tank outer shape provided at an almost central part is operated in the direction vertical to a guide in the insertion and extraction of the tank, the liquid leak preventing structure from the internal liquid supply passage between the tank 11 and a recording head 14 is simplified and operability is not damaged. Next, a light projecting and detecting type photosensor 15 is arranged to the lower part of the tank and a light detecting and reflecting part 16 is provided to the bottom part of the tank 11 corresponding thereto on this side of an internal liquid supply part with respect to a paper feed direction to achieve the compact constitution around the carriage.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the mistaken refilling with ink by forming the ink injection pipe attached to an ink refilling container of the same kind in a shape connectable to an ink injection port in an inserted state. CONSTITUTION:The ink injection port of an ink storage cartridge is changed to a shape different according to the kind of the ink in the cartridge and the ink injection pipe attached to an ink refilling container of the same kind is formed into a shape connectable to the ink injection port of the same kind in an inserted state. After the ink injection port and the ink injection pipe are fitted and connected each other, the ink storage cartridge is refilled with ink from the ink refilling container. Concretely, when the ink injection pipe 12 attached to the ink filling container 10 filled with ink 40 is inserted in the hole 21 of the ink injection port 22, the leading end of the ink injection pipe 12 thrusts through the ink injection port 22 to reach the ink storage part of the ink cartridge 20. When the bellows part of the ink filling container 10 is compressed, the ink 40 is injected in the ink filling container 10 under pressure.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To extend the life of a battery or the like by providing an eyepiece part with a detecting switch means which detects the contact state of photographer's face. CONSTITUTION:When a face 10 representing the part of an eyeball 201 of the photographer is separated from an eyecup 105, electricity is not supplied from a power supply circuit 107 to a signal processing circuit 109 because a detecting switch 106 it turned off, and a gaze detecting system and a view finder 101 are not operated. When the face 10 of the photographer closely comes into contact with the eyecup 105, the detecting switch 106 is turned on, and the power supply circuit 107 is started to supply the electricity to the signal processing circuit 109 and the view finder 101. When the face 10 of the photographer is separated from the eyecup 105 in this state, the detecting switch 106 is turned off, and the power supply circuit 107 is shut off, and the signal processing circuit 109 and the view finder 101 stop the operation.

CONSTITUTION:When the loading of the tape is started, a drum member 10 or a tape cassette 1A is moved, and the drum member 10 is inserted into the opening part of a cassette main body 1b. The tape 5 is rubbed on the member 10, to carry out the loading, and the recording and reproducing of information is carried out. In the loading process, the bottom part of the outer periphery S of the member 10 is abutted on one end S1 of a releasing lever 8. Then, the lever 8 is pressed, and pushed toward the inside of the cassette 1A, against the energization of a spring 7. Then, a braking pawl 6 is guided/moved by a holding part 1C, the engagement of a tooth projection (t), and the pawl parts 6a and 6b of the pawl 6 is released, and reel hubs 3A and 4A can be rotated. Thus, loosening of the tape 5 caused by an impact during the maintenance and treatment of the cassette 1A is prevented, the damage is prevented, as well, and the miniaturization, and lightening in weight can be attained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To smoothly fix a cassette to a cassette holder by pressing from the back face the cassette under moving to a loading completion position by the lever rotated by the cam which rotates according to the movement of the cassette holder. CONSTITUTION:A pressing member 7a is located at the position not obstructing the insertion of a cassette 1 in case of inserting the cassette 1. This is because of the rotation of levers 6, 7 being regulated by the abutting to a cam 5 of the boss 6c provided on the lever 6. With the cassette holder starting to move a rotary plate 5 is rotated in a clockwise direction and the lever 6 which is regulated by the cam 5a and boss 6c is accordingly rotated in a clockwise direction by the energizing force according to the variation in the diameter of the cam 5a. The boss 7c of the lever 7 is held movably inside the U-shaped groove 6a of the lever 6 and the lever 7 rotated in the counter clockwise direction according to the rotation in the clockwise direction of the lever 6. The cassette 1 intends to move to the rear part but the pressing member 7a presses the back face of the cassette 1 and is surely fixed to the prescribed position inside the cassette holder.

Meanwhile a switch SW3 is turned ON by the cam 63 provided on the rotary disk 50, the rotary disks 28, 50 are stopped together with the motor and the position of the cassette holder 10 is correctly regulated.
