    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a low-cost, compact ink jet device capable pf ensuring high-quality recording and high reliability by driving a device to transport a recorded material and an ink discharge state recovery device using a common drive source, and at the same time, causing the initial action of said devices to take place using a single sensor when a power supply for the device is turned ON. CONSTITUTION:A sheet transport guide part 23 consists of each sheet feed roller 23a, 23b, and guides a sheet 3 which is fed from a cassette 22 using a pickup roller 21, to a subscan roller 7. A printing part 8 prints the sheet by causing liquid droplets to be ejected by a printing head 9 which is movable in a sheet width direction due to each guide rail 9a, 9b. In the meantime, a cap is caused to come in contact with an ink jet head using a non-printing device, and at the same time, a tube is squashed using a guide roller through a pressure roller to perform a suction recovery action. In this case, the pickup roller 21 and the guide roller are driven by a common drive source. If a power supply for the device is turned ON, the initial action of the mentioned each roller is started by a single sensor.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make plural kinds of original information continuously visible on one sheet of member to be recorded by setting the copying magnification of the original information to a recording area corresponding to a number of original information. CONSTITUTION:An input means inputting the plural kinds of original information, an area setting means setting plural number of recording area on the single member to be recorded and a recording control means recording the plural kinds of original information in prescribed recording areas 1-4 respectively are provided. In this case, the recording control means sets the copying magnification of the original information to the recording areas 1-4 corresponding to the number of original information. And by providing the setting switch of a copy order separately, it is possible to change the copy order freely. In this way, since it is constituted to automatically execute a multiscreen image forming on the single member to be recorded, even when transferring the plural number of originals on one sheet of paper in order to edit, it is possible to process en bloc without taking a handling time.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent soiling of a laser beam irradiated surface and to exactly detect moving speed of a carrier rotating body by a speed detection means via laser beam by forming a laser beam irradiated part in a shape projected from a portion adjacent to the paper sticking part side. SOLUTION: A bank 36f is provided on a surface of a carrier belt 31 and the bank 36f is irradiated with laser beam L1 emitted from a laser doppler speed measuring instrument 60. A frosting processing is performed for an upper surface of the bank 36f and the bank 36f is formed into a shape making one round of the carrier belt 31 in a height of about 3 mm of a degree that the bank 36f is not soiled with ink. The width of the bank 36f is made 4 mm and a spot Lsp of laser beam L1 of a diameter of about 2 mm is prevented from being disengaged from the bank 36f. A power feeding brush 52 and a material to be recorded P are disposed on the right side of the bank 36f and a recording head is disposed on the upper side. When the carrier belt 31 is moved, a cleaning member 61 for cleaning the upper part of the bank 36f is disposed on an upstream side of the laser doppler speed measuring instrument 60.

The images of the blocks are optimally recorded in response to input multicolor image data by a recording element in response to the comparison result and a decision result (S606 to S608).
