Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of forming a full color image by performing exposure once. CONSTITUTION: A transparent conductive sleeve 13 is rotated in a direction shown by an arrow E in the hopper 11 of the image forming device 30. Photoconductive color toner 32a is charged to be negative by friction with a blade 14 (32b). An optical head 36 exposes the color toner 32b with spectrum (wavelength λ1 , λ2 and λ3 ) having intensity in accordance with an image signal at an exposure part where the sleeve 13 is opposed to a drum 17. The yellow toner 32by, the magenta toner 32bm and the cyan toner 32bc are made conductor with the use of the light having the wavelength λ1 , the light having the wavelength λ2 and the light having the wavelength λ3 respectively according to spectral transmissivity characteristic. A bias power source 15 injects positive charge in the color toner made conductive. The color toner (32c) whose polarity is inverted to be positive is transferred on the drum 17 so as to form the full color image. The image is transferred on paper P by the electric field of a transfer roll 20 (32d) and fixed by a fixing roll 22.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a compact thermal transfer printer, in which the cost of the device can be reduced by carrying toner on a platen, heating the toner by a thermal head and transferring an image onto a paper without using particularly a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A thermal head 2 with a number of heating elements in the paper face vertical direction, a self-adhesive layer 5 and a platen 3, to which toner (t) adheres to the self-adhesive layer 5 formed on its peripheral face, are located face to face, and a paper is carried between the thermal head and the self-adhesive layer, and pulse voltage V in compliance with the printing information is applied to heat deceloping bodies selectively, melt the toner (t) on the platen 3 and print on the paper 9. A heating device is stored in the platen 3, and the heating device is heated by a control signal from a heat control circuit, and the toner (t) on the platen 3 is preheated to heat the toner in the vicinity of heating elements to the melting temperature quickly by the heating elements, to which the pulse voltage V is applied.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a device by carrying toner on a cylindrical component without particularly using a photo-sensitive body, melting the toner on the cylindrical component selectively by far infrared rays and transferring the toner to a paper. CONSTITUTION:Toner (t) stored in a toner container 5 is deposited on an adhesive layer 6 formed on the peripheral face of the cylindrical component by its own viscosity, and toner (t) is carried to an image transfer section D where the cylindrical component 2 and a platen 3 facing each other, and laser beam 4' is scanned from a laser head 4 to the paper surface vertical direction to melt the toner (t) on the cylindrical component 2 selectively and transfer the same to a paper P and form a toner image on the paper P. Thus a thermal transfer printer can be constituted without using a component of high running cost like an expensive photosensitive body, an ink ribbon or the like.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of forming the transferred image without staining. CONSTITUTION:A transparent conductive sleeve 14 is electrified to a positive (+) potential by bias supply 15 to attract the negatively (-) electrified photoconductive toner onto the periphery of the transparent conductive sleeve 14. An exposure 16 is attained from the inside of the transparent conductive sleeve 14 by an exposing device provided therein and only the photoconductive toner t required for printing is attracted to a conductive substrate 18 (an intermediate resistor 19). Then, only the photoconductive toner t required for printing attracted to the conductive substrate 18 (intermediate resistor 19) is transferred onto a paper sheet P by using a transfer roll 21, so that the paper P is prevented from being stained.

In this manner, a recording signal in accordance with printing density characteristics depending on a color of a toner is outputted to a recording electrode for forming an image corresponding to the printing density characteristics.

CONSTITUTION:On the peripheral surface of a developing sleeve 15, recording electrode sheet 15, which is produced by arranging a plurality of recording electrodes EL in parallel to one another, is attached so as to form toner recording image on the peripheral surface of a cylindrical electrode 5 at a recording part W, in which the recording electrode EL and the peripheral surface of the cylindrical electrode 5 are opposed closely to each other. By rotatingly contactably providing a transfer roll 4 against the peripheral surface of the cylindrical electrode 5, an image transferring part T is produced. Near the upstream side to the conveying direction of paper at the image transferring part T, a front transfer roll 6, which is earthed, is rotatingly contactably provided against the peripheral surface of the cylindrical electrode 5. The front transfer roll 6 is made of electrically conductive material having the value of electrical resistance of 10 -10 OMEGA.

In this case, the tip 17d of the recording electrode sheet 17 is deviated a little to the upstream side with respect to a toner carrying direction from the position N where the respective circumferential surfaces between a cylindrical electrode 5 and the developing sleeve 15 are the closest. Thus, the recording image having the high resolution consisting of dots which has a clear outline, and is vivid and sharp is stably formed, the durability of the recorder is improved and the image having the high resolution can be stably formed for a long time.

CONSTITUTION:The surface of a recording electrode sheet 20 is coated with an insulating coat 20c, insulating properties between recording electrode wires 20a are secured, and simultaneously, the abrasion of the recording electrode wire 20a caused by the rubbing of the wires and magnetic toner is prevented. In a region Z over a prescribed range from the top end positioned at the recording part of the recording electrode sheet 20, plural grooves G extended in the carrying direction of a developer are formed in parallel on the surface of the insulating coat 20c serving as the carrying surface of the developer, and the top ends of the recording electrode wires 20a are extended on the bottom surfaces of these grooves. The magnetic toner constituting and carrying the recording electrode EL is collectively formed thereon. Thus, a sharp toner recorded image having high resolution can be stably formed.
