Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonwoven fabric for wet tissues excellent in touch feeling (touch when wetted and flexibility) while maintaining moderate strength when wetted. SOLUTION: This nonwoven fabric for wet tissues has 0.05-0.1g/cm fiber density under 0.55g/cm load, 500-3,000g/25mm tensile strength thereof in the machine direction(MD) and 500-3000g/25mm tensile strength thereof in the cross direction(CD). Furthermore, the nonwoven fabric for the wet tissues has 500-2,000g/25mm tensile strength in the MD direction, 500-2,000g/25mm tensile strength in the CD direction when impregnating 100 pts.wt. nonwoven fabric for the wet tissues with 220 pts.wt. water and >=30% compression recovery ratio after compression thereof under 50g/cm load.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain nonwoven fabric having excellent liquid permeability, feeling, flexibility and dimensional stability by thermally adhering thermoplastic resin to form a fiber bundled part, placing the fabric on a perforated support, and opening pores by high speed fluid. CONSTITUTION:A fiber bundled part 1a having a point adhered part 1c and pores 1b in which fibers are twisted and sorted are provided. Nonwoven fabric 1 may have a one-layer structure or a two or more-layer structure. However, when nonthermoplastic fiber such as cellulose series fiber is mixed in a large quantity, dry feeling as a front surface material is lost, and it is difficult to provide a point adhesive strength for satisfying physical properties at 30g/cm or less of a weigh. The parts 1c are thermally press-bonded in a density of 6-46 pieces/cm to the part 1a, and a strength of the fabric 1 is held by the parts 1c.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a nonwoven fabric good in absorptivity for the excreted body fluid at its central part, thus to be used as a facing material for sanitary articles capable of preventing such fluid from oozing through the side edges by alternately superposing hydrophilic nonwoven fabrics and hydrophobic ones in a specified arrangement. CONSTITUTION:Band-like materials 3 made of hydrophilic thermoplastic fibrous web are formed so as to be l1 in the width, being arranged at each spacing of l2; while band-like materials 7 made of hydrophobic thermoplastic web are formed so as to be l3 in the width and arranged at each spacing of l4, and relationships: l3>l2 and l1>l4 are ensured to be met. Both two kinds of the band-like materials 3 and 7 are put to mutual heat fusing at their respective side edges. The superposed width for mutual webs pref. become >=5mm.
