SOLUTION: A pulp slurry is poured into a cavity of a set of dividable molds and the formed laminated pulp is dried by heating to obtain a molded pulp product. The drying of the laminate with heat is carried out by using a core, expanding the core by introducing a fluid to press the laminated pulp against the inner wall of the cavity with the core and drying the laminate while keeping the above state.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulp-molded body that is readily foldable on disposal without formation of folding lines on the outer surface of the vessel, and provide a method for producing pulp-molded body that can readily produce any type of molded bodies without limitation of their shapes. SOLUTION: This pulp-molded body is a hollow molded body 10 that has the recessed part on the inner surface of the hollow drum body. In one embodiment, a plurality of holes are formed on the pulp-screening face of the paper- making mold and the pulp fibers are stacked on the pulp-screening face to form a pulp-laminated body. Then, the pulp-laminated body is drained and dried to produce the objective pulp-molded body. In this case, the holes are not formed partially on pulp-screening face to make the wall thickness in the part corresponding to the recessed part thin in the vessel.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a pulp molding container water-proof and moisture-proof with a small amount of material and to facilitate recycling, by providing a resin layer of a specific thickness on the internal surface or/and external surface of a pulp molding and by specifying a ratio between the thickness of the resin layer and the thickness of the molding and also the center-line average roughness of the surface roughness. SOLUTION: In a container 1, a resin layer 3 is provided on the entire internal surface of a pulp molding 2. Also, an opening 4 is provided at the top and a continuous recess 7 is formed in a body 5 all round. In the case, the resin layer 3 is set to 5 to 300 7,t m in thickness. A relative relationship between the thickness of the resin layer 3 and the thickness of the molding 2 is set so that the former/latter ratio is 1/2 to 1/100. Further, in the external or internal surface roughness of the molding 2, the center-line average roughness (value measured in accordance with Ra, JIS B 0601) is set to 0.5 to 20 μm and the maximum height (value measured in accordance with Rmax JIS B 0601) is preferably set to l to 500 μm.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacture method for a pulp-molded body enabling the end part of an opening to be molded into desired configurations without requiring finish work or the like. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for a pulp-molded body comprises piling pulp fiber on the paper making face of a paper mold for forming an opening, and subjecting the undried molded body to draining and drying operation. The upper end portion of an opening in the undried molded body is pushed in downward by a predetermined means so as to make wall thickness portion in the vicinity of the upper end portion, and an expandable core is arranged in the inner part of the undried molded body at the same time of pushing-in operation before and after the pushing-in operation, and subsequently, the undried molded body including the upper end portion is compressed through the expansion of the core.

Then, compressed fluid is fed via the fluid communication into the covering material 9 to swell the hollow part or the bag in a prescribed size, thus the volume in the cavity 4 is reduced to 5-90% based on the original volume. Then, the pulp slurry is poured, dehydrated and dried to give the objective pulp molded product.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To show an excellent brushing function regardless of an object to be brushed, to provide high water absorptive property and to easily manufacture a brush with excellent practicality by constituting the brush by means of a pulp molding body having multiple projections on a surface. SOLUTION: This pulp-made brush 1 consists of a pulp molding body and the body consists of a substrate 11 and multiple projections 12 which are integrally formed with the substrate on a front surface 1s of the substrate 11. The substrate 11 is formed to be a rectangular shape with a little roundness on the whole by planar viewing and the circumference of the front surface 1s of the substrate 11 is a slope 15. Projections 12 are arranged in plural strings at equal interval along the longitudinal direction of the substrate 11 on the front surface 1s of the substrate 11 and the respective strings are arranged not to permit the projections 12 to be adjacent in the shorter direction of the substrate 11. Then the projections 12 are solid chevron shapes inside in same size. Each projections 12 is provided with a curved surface in the tip part 13, which is favorably 0.5-2.5 mm in a curvature radius R, and is more favorably 1-1.5 mm.

SOLUTION: On the outer surface of a paper-making mold having a plurality of through holes from the outside to the inside, a rough mesh net layer and a dense mesh net layer are covered, the paper-making mold is immersed in a pulp slurry vacuumed from the inside of the paper-making mold, thereby stacking the pulp fibers on the net layers to form a pulp-laminated product. Finally, the pulp-laminated product is pressed with a couple of split molds whereby the pulp-laminated product is dewatered and dried.
