Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out a hold subject smoothly and surely therefrom even when a top surface is ranged nearly flatly by installing an adsorption nozzle on the hold subject adsorbably in more outside than the finger tip part of each finger form body. SOLUTION: An electric motor M is driven and the piston rod 10 of a second cylinder C2 is moved by a prescribed distance and the air in a nozzle mechanism 4 is sucked. An adsorption nozzle N adsorbs a target cucumber in more outside than the finger tip part of each finger form body 1 and is shrunk by the increase of the negative pressure in the adsorption nozzle N and the cucumber is pulled in a hold position. A first cylinder C1 not operated by the operation of an accommodation means A is operated in a fluid supply side and a fluid is supplied to the finger form body 1 and the cucumber is held by the holding part. As the cucumber is pulled upto the holding position by the adsorption nozzle N and then held like above, the hit to the adjacent cucumber of each finger form body 1 can be avoided at the holding time.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To perform a sure and stable selecting operation by supplying a plurality of long vegetables carried by a feeding device to an interval expanding means in line without any disorder. CONSTITUTION: An interval expanding means D is attached to a cucumber selector for expanding intervals between cucumbers to a level proper for the carrying interval of a carrying conveyor 3 and a number of mounting bars 9 are attached to a chain 8 turning in an oblong circular track. Cucumbers supplied by a feeding means C are received in the straight line track portion of the chain 8 and by means of a principle in which an interval between adjacent mounting bars 9 and 9 is expanded in the circular track portion of the chain 8, the cucumbers are dropped and fed to the tray 7 of the carrying conveyor 7 in the circular track portion. An inclined guiding plate 28 lowered toward the lower side of the chain 8 moving direction is arranged in the upper side of the interval expanding means D, a stop plate 29 to be raised and retreated for receiving cucumbers is arranged in the lower end of this guiding plate 28 and a plurality of cucumbers released from an adsorbing pad are transferred to the mounting bars 9 by lining these using the inclined guiding plate 28 and raising the receiving plate 29.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a long vegetable sorting device equipped with an interval increasing means which increases an interval to the one suited to the recognition of the shapes of long vegetables fed at close intervals in proper and positively functioning conditions for the review of construction from the stage of design. CONSTITUTION: This sorting device is provided with a receiving part which transfers cucumbers onto the tray 7 of a conveyer 3, a shape recognizing part 5 which recognizes the shape of the cucumber on the tray 7 with a CCD camera, a sorting part 6 which sorts the cucumbers based on it, and an interval increasing means D which increases an interval between adjacent cucumbers so as to obtain an interval in a conveying direction suitable for recognizing operation at the shape recognizing part. The interval increasing means is also provided with a plurality of bars 9 which move on an elliptic track, and is relatively- disposed so as to drop the cucumbers received at the receiving part when an interval between the bars 9, 9 increases at a circular track part. At the final end of the straight track of the bar 9, there is also provided a resistance mechanism by a rubber hanging which provides some resistance by contacting the cucumber in an aslant position or a curved shape conveyed on the mounting bars 9.
