Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper for opening/closing two flaps capable of quickly switching four opening/closing modes of close/close, open/open, close/open and open/close. SOLUTION: This device is constituted of a first flap, a second flap and a driving part 107 for opening/closing the first flap and the second flap. The driving part 107 is provided with a motor 108, a reduction gear train 113 for reducing and transmitting rotation of the motor 108, a first crank 114 rotated by the reduction gear train 113 to open/close the first flap and a second crank 119 rotated by the first crank 114 to open/close the second flap. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump for water tank to keep aquarium fish, waterweed, etc., whereby it is possible to lift the water even with varying water level despite a small and light construction of a motor for driving the pump and perform circulation of the water and an air feed thereto. SOLUTION: In the center of a motor 1, a magnet 2 whose diameter is greater than the dimension in its axial direction is installed, and thereunder an impeller 3 thin and long is installed. The impeller 3 includes spiral vanes 3a, 3b, 3c and has a sufficient length so as to manage with varying water level in the water tank. The water is put by the rotation of the impeller 3 directly into linear motions in the axial direction so that a turbulence is unlikely to be generated, and the water can be pumped up efficiently. Because the water lifting action reaches the top 3e of the impeller 3 even in the case the water level remains low, the water can be discharged with a constant water head difference from the top 3e to the discharge port 8a of a nozzle 8 at all time even if the water level varies, and also the design can be made with a constant lifting efficiency, so that the rotating speed and/or torque can be designed with minimum which allows a small-sized construction.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ice making device for a refrigerator provided with a method of storing ice blocks removed from respective ice making pans, a method of detecting either overs and shorts of the stored ice blocks and a method of supplying water into the ice making pans from which the ice blocks are removed, in the automatic ice making device having a plurality of ice making pans. SOLUTION: The automatic ice making device is provided with a switching valve 20 for conducting water flowing into the valve 20 from a pump 19 arranged on the way from the pump 19 for pumping the water to the ice making pans 11, 12, to flow out to the predetermined positions of the ice making pans 11, 12; ice making sensors provided in respective ice making pans 11, 12 to detect whether ice making is finished or not; ice storage boxes 14 arranged below respective ice making pans to store ice blocks in respective ice making pans 11, 12; and ice detecting means 15 provided in respective ice storage boxes 14 to detect whether the ice blocks stored in respective ice storage boxes 14 are too much or too short. The switching valve 20 is operated after detecting whether the ice blocks detected by the ice detecting means 15 are too much or too short with respect to the ice storage boxes below the ice making pans, in which the finish of ice making has been detected by the ice making sensor.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selector valve for a water-supply path having a structure, in which water leakage does not happen from a sealed discharge port, in relation to the valve for supplying water to a plurality of water-making trays for an automatic ice maker of a refrigerator. SOLUTION: Referring to the direction (indicated by an arrow) of the shortest distance to a space 1f of the main body having a flow from discharge port 1c through contact faces of an arc face 2a, an upper face 2b, a lower face 2c and a sealing face 2d of the body 1 of the valve 2, the direction is orthogonal or nearly orthogonal to the direction of the water flowing in the space 1f. The lateral pressure acts in the direction vertically approaching the current, so water does not flow in the direction of a discharge port 1d, and leakage can be positively prevented.

CONSTITUTION:A temperature control device for a refrigerator comprises a duct cover 36 having an cold air flow inlet 33, a flap 34 to open and close the cold air inflow port 33, a load lever 39 which supports the flap 34 and is rotatably supported to a housing 38, a load spring 50 to energize the load lever 39 in a closing direction, and a drive source 45 to drive the load lever 39 through an eccentric cam 47 according to temperature in a chamber. Since thickness can be set regardless of the opening size of the flop 34 by arranging a constituting part in one direction of the duct cover 36, the thickness of a duct panel can be decreased, and the effective volume in a chamber of a refrigerator can be increased.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To construct a pressure switch to be used for a wide load amperage range without causing a change of the parts configuration to any great extent and also enhance the yield from production line by arranging an electric contact member so that a noble metal contact can be caulked fast to a position confronting a contact plate on a piston. CONSTITUTION:One end of a piston 15 furnished slidably at the hollow part 14 is embodies as a columnar part 15' having a recess for O-ring 16, while the other end is formed with contact plate 17 coupled at the foremost extremity. This contact plate 17 is greater than the outside dia. of a bias spring 18, and a plurality of such plates are used as laminated so as to absorb dispersion in the force of the bias spring 18. A contact member 21 is inseted in the center of an insulative cylindrical case 20, and a noble metal contact 22' caulked in convex form is provided at one end of this contact member 21, therein the type of the contact 22' is changed according to the load amperage. This allows the resultant pressure switch to be used for a wide load amperage range from a micro-current to large current without any large-scale alteration of the parts configuration. Because dispersion in the switch operating pressure is adjustable with the plate 17 and spring 18, the yield can be enhanced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an unstable state from being produced at switching even when a motor is reversed by bringing a switch drive member into slide contact with a cam member, and causing the switch drive member to interlock with the cam member through a drive body fixed in the rotating direction of a motor and movable in a reversing direction. CONSTITUTION:When a motor is rotated, a cam member 28 and a profile cam 32 are rotated and a D-shaped protrusion 33 also is rotated to open and close a damper. In which case, a stop in an opening and a closing position is needed, through displacement of the outer size of the profile cam 32, a switch drive member 34 to hold a permanent magnet 36 is moved, and a switch 37 is turned ON and OFF. When the switch 37 is turned OFF, the switch drive member 34 is stopped at a slope 32b. In which case, when reversing is effected during restarting, the cam member 28 is also reversed, a drive body 39 is energized in a direction in which it ascends the slope 32b but since resistance is high, the shaft part of the switch drive body 34 is moved in the direction of a shaft hole against the force of a leaf spring 40b. Thereby, the position of the permanent magnet 36 is not changed, and the switch 37 is prevented from unstable operation.
