Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hairline interstice insert molding having high design properties. SOLUTION: The hairline interstice insert film comprises an adhesive anchor layer 4 and a design print layer 6 sequentially formed on a transparent base sheet 2 formed with hairline interstices in such a manner that the layer 4 has a thickness smaller, than a depth of a recess of the interstice. The hairline interstice insert molding is obtained by disposing the film in an injection mold so that the sheet 2 is brought into contact with a mold surface, closing the mold, then injecting molding resin in the mold, and solidifying the resin to adhere the film to a resin molding 8.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain an ultraviolet ray discoloring substance in a necessary minimum condition, and reduce the cost of products by forming an ultraviolet ray discoloring layer containing a specific quantity of an ultraviolet ray discoloring substance on the foundation. SOLUTION: At first, an adhesive layer 6 side of an ultraviolet ray discoloring transfer material 1 is put in close contact with the surface of matter 7 to be transferred. In the next place, by the use of a roll transfer machine or the like with a heat resistant rubber elastic body such as a silicone rubber, heat and pressure are applied via the heat resistant rubber elastic body set in conditions of a predetermined temperature and pressure from the foundation sheet 2 side of the ultraviolet ray discoloring transfer material 1. In this way, the adhesive layer 6 adheres to the surface of matter 7 to be transferred. At last, the foundation sheet 2 is separated after cooling, separation takes place on a boundary surface between the foundation sheet 2 and the separation layer 5 before the completion of transfer. Also, in the case of providing a separation layer on the foundation sheet 2, as the foundation sheet 2 is separated, separation occurs on an interface between the mold release layer and the separation layer, than transfer is finished.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an aluminum flake to be scarcely exposed with high luminance and concealability by sequentially laminating a high luminance metallic layer containing a metal powder and a highly concealable metallic layer containing a metal powder on a light permeable transparent base sheet having a specific thickness. SOLUTION: A high luminance metallic layer 2 and a highly concealable metallic layer 3 containing a metal powder 3 are sequentially laminated on a transparent base sheet 1 having a thickness of 20μm or more and light permeability of 85% or more. The layer 2 is laminated by using a metallic ink containing a metal powder 6, a resin binder and a solvent by a normal printing method or a coating method. A relatively rough powder 6 having a mean particle size of 14 to 40μm is used for the layer 2, and a relatively fine powder having a mean particle size of 10 to 20μm is used for the layer 3, and the materials are all aluminum, brass, gold, silver, nickel, zinc sulfide or lead.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert film used to manufacture an insert molding having chemical resistance, contamination resistance and wear resistance and a method for manufacturing the molding. SOLUTION: In the decorated insert film having design layers formed on both or one side surface of an acrylic film, and a fluorine film 2 further laminated on one side surface, the thickness of the acrylic film is 20μm or more, the thickness of fluorine film 2 is 1μm or more so that the thickness of the film 1 is three times or more as large as that of the film 2. The method for manufacturing the film comprises the steps of disposing the insert film in an injection mold, closing the mold, then injecting molten resin in the mold, and so solidifying the resin that the insert film is so adhered to the resin molding that the surface of the film 2 side becomes the surface of the insert molding.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of environmental pollution when a decorative film molded product is thrown away by providing a pattern layer containing decomposable plastic on a base sheet composed of decomposable plastic. CONSTITUTION: A decorative film 1 is provided with a pattern layer 3 containing decomposable plastic on a base sheet 2 composed of decomposable plastic. The decomposable plastic is used to form the quality of the base sheet 2. As for the decomposable plastic, biodegradable plastic to be degradaded by microbes and a plastic to be photolytically decomposed by the photolysis of beam like ultraviolet rays are used. Both plastics are converted into a low- molecular compound when degraded or dessociated and simultaneously decomposed into carbon dioxide gas and water. A part or the whole of biodegradable plastic contains a polymer or a blend to be degraded into low-molecular compounds such as carbon dioxide, water, methane and others by the action of microbes such as bacteria, fungai, algae and the like in the earth or in the water.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable color density to be set irrespective of a thickness and a shape of an ultraviolet discoloring lens by a method wherein coloring which is deep in density and good in sensitivity can be carried out without lowering optical function of the ultraviolet discoloring lens by a simple process. CONSTITUTION:An ultraviolet discoloring transfer sheet 1 wherein a transfer layer 4 having at least an ultraviolet discoloring layer as one component layer is provided on a substrate sheet 2, is arranged on a female mold 5 having a lens shaped inner wall. After making a substrate sheet 2 side of the ultraviolet discoloring transfer sheet 1 be along a shape of the female mold 5, a lens material 7 is poured onto the ultraviolet discoloring transfer sheet 1, and the lens material 7 is molded by spreading uniformly thinly along the shape of the female mold 5 by rotating the female mold 5 while the lens material 7 is being superimposed thereon. Then, a molded product 19 is taken out from the female mold 5, and the substrate sheet 2 of the ultraviolet discoloring transfer sheet 1 is separated.
