    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled article having dense and glossy surface, outstanding in dimensional stability, etc., suitable as a construction material, etc., by hot press molding of a composition comprising each specific oligoesterified woody material and oligomer. CONSTITUTION:The objective article can be obtained by molding, in the presence (absence) of a small amount of radical polymerization initiator, at 120-180 deg.C under a pressure necessary for plasticizing the woody material component (pref. 50-500kg/cm ), of a composition comprising (A) 100pts.wt. of an oligoesterified woody material in which polybasic acid anhydride (pref., maleic anhydride) and unsaturated double bond-contg. monoepoxy compound (pref. allyl glycidyl ether) are added alternately to the hydroxyl groups in a woody material component. and (B) pref. 10-45pts.wt. of an oligomer prepared from polybasic acid anhydride and unsaturated double bond-contg. monoepoxy compound to simultaneously carry out plasticization and crosslinking of the double bond through polymerization.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a molded article having excellent characteristics such as water-resistance, and to enable the effective reutilization of cellulosic materials, by adding a polybasic acid anhydride to a cellulosic material, kneading with a compound having plural epoxy groups, and hot-pressing the mixture at a high temperature. CONSTITUTION:(A) An esterified cellulosic material containing carboxyl group and obtained by the addition of a polybasic acid anhydride (preferably phthalic anhydride, etc.) to the hydroxyl group of a cellulosic material is mixed with (B) a compound having >=2 epoxy groups (preferably bisphenol-A epoxy compound), and the mixture is thoroughly kneaded. The objective molded article can be produced by applying a pressure necessary for the plastification of the component A, preferably pressure of >=60kg/cm to the kneaded product at a high temperature, preferably at >=120 deg.C to effect the crosslinking of the material by esterification reaction. EFFECT:Effective to resource saving.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a wooden fiber board that is excellent in bending strength, water-proofness, etc. by spraying successively a mixture of polyisocyanate and dimethylformamide and water on the board and then forming it under heating and pressure. CONSTITUTION:Wooden fibers such as fibers, wood particles, etc. are dried to the moisture content of 7% or less, and into the wooden fibers with temperature over 30 deg.C a mixture of polyisocyanate and dimethylformamide is made to permeate by spraying. In this way the isocyanate base of the polyisocyanate and hydrooxyl groups in ellulose and lignin molecules that are ingredients of wood fiber are reacted to each other to produce urethane combination, so that strong bonding strength among wooden fibers is formed, and at the same time the hydrophilic hydrooxyl group is blocked to lower its water absorbing power. Next, water is sprayed to the wooden fibers are formed under heating and pressure into boards at temperature over the boiling point of dimethylformamide.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which does not cause fine splits on its molded item by blending a lignocellulose or cellulose material, a polyolefin resin, a specific amount of polytetrafluoroethylene and a specific amount of an alkyl (meth)acrylate polymer. SOLUTION: This resin composition contains 0.1-1.5 wt.% of polytetrafluoroethylene and 0.05-4.5 wt.% of an alkyl (meth)acrylate polymer. Preferably the resin composition contains not less than 20 wt.% of (A) a lignocellurose or cellulose material. Preferably the material (A) is (B) an esterified lignocellulose or cellulose material. Preferably the material (B) is a maleic acid-modified wood powder obtained by carrying out addition- esterification of a wood powder with maleic anhydride. A polyolefin to be used is preferably a mixture of a polypropylene of an MFR of 0.1-200 g/10 min at 230 deg.C and a polyethylene of an MFR of 0.01-200 g/10 min at 190 deg.C.
