Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To view a pay television(TV) broadcasting even by means of a receiver after the second one in addition to the first one being on a contract to the pay TV broadcasting when a TV receiver is arranged after the second one in the same house. SOLUTION: A system is provided with a master TV receiver 20 and slave TV receivers 21 and 22 by which the pay TV broadcasting is received, communication means 24a-24c and 31-43 are arranged among 20-22. A cipher decoding key signal for receiving the pay TV broadcasting on contract with the receiver 20 is transmitted to the receivers 21 and 22 from the master TV receiver 20 via the means 24a-24c, 24b, 24c and 31-43 and written in a memory 14 and the pay TV broadcasting on contract with the receiver 20 is viewed even by the receivers 21 and 22 through the use of the cipher decoding key signal which is written in the memory.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the information communication device where a voice speech is conducted via a network with sufficient practicality by preventing interruption of a conversation during a speech, missing of voice, and rapid and remarkable distortion. SOLUTION: In the case that more voice data than an estimated amount are stored in a transmission buffer 15, a data quantity control section 16 controls a quantization step of a quantization section 14 to reduce the produced data quantity. If the transmission buffer 15 is nearly fully occupied regardless of it, a voice synthesis section 17 is used to make a notice of possibility of a speech stop, and when the transmission buffer 15 is fully occupied, data production is stopped. When the transmission buffer 15 is nearly idle, the quantization step of the quantization section 14 is set smaller and since the data quantity can be increased, data with excellent sound quality can be transmitted.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a conventional telephone call to the Internet.
SOLUTION: A telephone set control means 2a conducts processing, in response to a control signal outputted from a telephone set 1 and gives a prescribed control signal to the telephone set 1 to control it. A telephone number conversion means 2b converts a telephone number outputted from the telephone set 1 into a corresponding IP address. An A/D converter means 2c converts a voice signal outputted from the telephone set 1 into a digital signal. A TCP/IP conversion means 2d converts the digital signal obtained by the A/D converter means 2c into a data stream, corresponding to a TCP/IP and sends the data stream to an IP address of a speech opposite party which is obtained by the telephone number conversion means 2b and converts the data stream sent from the speech opposite party into a digital signal. A D/A converter means 2e converts the digital signal resulting from the analog signal sent from the speech opposite party, the is converted by a TCP/IP conversion means 2d into a corresponding voice signal, and gives the voice signal to the telephone set 1.

CONSTITUTION:Data transmitted to a modem part 20 through a public communication line 1 is stored in the memory part 50. A control part 40 analyzes control information added to the data, reads out the data from the part 50 at a transmission time designated by the control information based on the current time information supplied from a timer part 60, and further, transmits the data to a transmission destination designated by the control information through the communication line 1. As a result, the information service that data transmitted through a communication line is transmitted to a designated destination at a designated time can be achieved only by a modem telephone set.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To set and rest automatic answering mode, to record, produce, erase, etc. a business message from an outside telephone set by discriminating output of a dial key of a pushphone. CONSTITUTION:If a flag OGMF is set when the main body of the equipment 2 is called continuously for a specified time from an outside telephone set, a flag AAMF is set, and at the same time, an LED 53B is lit up. Then, a contact 22 is turned on, and an answer message of a RAM 61 is taken out, and the signal is sent out to a circuit 1. When reproduction of the answer message is completed, a peep signal is taken out fro a forming circuit 25 and sent out to the circuit 1. Then, the contact 22 is turned off and goes to the state of standing by. Thus, control such as setting and resetting of automatic answering mode, recording reproducing, erasing etc. of a business message etc. are attained from an outside telephone set. As recording, reproducing and erasing can not be executed unless an ID code is inputted, disturbance or mischief by others can be prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To change to an automatic answering mode by providing a means that records and reproduces an answer message and a means of switching that selects a mode at the time of incoming. CONSTITUTION:A ringer 32 sounds when there is incoming call in the case where a telephone set is not set to an automatic answering mode. When an automatic answering switch 52A turned on retaining the on hook state, this is detected and the ringer 32 is turned off. Thereafter, a business message is recorded after an answer message is reproduced, and the set becomes the state of waiting. In this case, an automatic answering mode flag AAMF is not set even if the switch 52A is turned on, and accordingly, the telephone thereafter becomes ordinary incoming call. Thereby, even when it is forgotten to set the telephone set to an automatic answering mode the ringer 32 sounds by calling, process of automatic answering is made by depressing the switch 52A.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the number of operational switches on the control panel by making a voice-recording switch for response message and a mode switch for automatic response common in the titled telephone set. CONSTITUTION:In case of recording the response message, a response message switch 52A is turned on with the handset being hooked on. A controller 40 detects this, and a response message flag OGMF is checked. The said flag OGMF is set when the response message is recorded in a RAM 61, and is reset when not recorded. When the flag OGMF is being set, a voice signal from a microphone 14 is written in the RAM 61. In case of automatic response mode also, the switch 52A is turned on with the handset being hooked on. A CPU 41 checks the flag OGMF, and lets a flag AAMF reverse if the flag is being set. When the AAMF is being set, and LED53A turns on but turns off when the AAMF is being reset to become in stand-by status. And, when the OGMF is being reset, the response message becomes in recording mode.
