As a result, an intensity of the measuring light L7 can be improved while the mixing of non-modulation laser light and the return of the reflected light to the semiconductor laser 42 can be avoided effectively thereby improving an S/N of a beat signal FM1 noticeably along with a higher detection sensitivity.
