    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a color filter having satisfactory adhesion to all over the surfaces of the transparent substrate and transparent protective layer and to obtain a color filter having satisfactory adhesion and high reliability. CONSTITUTION:When a colored layer, a light shielding layer and a transparent protective layer are disposed on a transparent substrate to produce a color filter, an adhesive layer of polyimide resin is interposed between the protective layer and the light shielding layer so that the adhesive layer exists in a region in which at least one of the light shielding layer and the colored layer in the color filter exists and the objective color filter is obtd. Since the adhesive layer is chiefly formed on the colored layer and on the light shielding layer, the adhesion of the protective layer to the light shielding layer is improved. Since the protective layer adheres directly to the part of the substrate on which the colored layer and light shielding layer are not disposed, the adhesion of the protective layer to the part of the substrate is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a color filter having a transparent protective film with sufficient tight adhesion to a metallic light shielding layer even when a primer layer is not present by performing the etching treatment of the surface of the metallic light shielding layer and subsequently providing the transparent protective film after the metallic light shielding layer and a picture element are succesively formed on a transparent substrate. CONSTITUTION:This is a method of manufacturing the color filter provided with the metallic light shielding layer and the picture element on the transparent substrate in this order. After the metallic light shielding layer and the picture element have been formed on the transparent substrate succesively, the surface of the metallic light shielding layer is etched and subsequently, the transparent protective film is provided. That is, the filter has the metallic light shielding layer, the transparent protective film and the adhered surface between the metallic light shielding layer and the transparent protective film. Any metallic light shielding layer is acceptable, if it is a metallic film, and more preferably, when metal chrome is used as the light shielding layer, the most remarkable improvement effect of adhesibility of the transparent protective film to the metallic light shielding layer results. In the etching treatment, an etching liquid to be used for the formation of the usual metallic light shielding pattern may be used.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain excellent heat resistance, transparency, formability for pattern, solvent resistance and storage stability by incorporating at least one kind of acid selected from monobasic acids, polybasic acids and polybasic acid anhydrides. CONSTITUTION:This heat-resistant color paste for a color filter consists of a polyimide precursor, solvent and pigment,and contains at least one kind of acid selected from monobasic acids, polybasic acids and polybasic acid anhydrides. The acid selected from monobasic acids, polybasic acids and polybasic acid anhydrides is such acid or acid anhydride having carboxyl groups, while the acid component of the polyimide precursor during polymn. is acid dianhydrides. This acid may be added in or prior to the step of dispersing the pigment in the polyimide precursor and solvent. Further, besides the polyimide precursor, solvent, acid and pigment, if necessary, a surfactant, adhesion improving agent or the like may be added in a small amt.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a ceramic green sheet, excellent in blanking, perforating workability, etc., and capable of providing a ceramic multilayer substrate having high reliability and performances by including ceramic powder and a photosensitive resin composition therein. CONSTITUTION:The objective ceramic green sheet is produced by blending ceramic powder and a photosensitive resin composition as principal components with a required component such as a binder or a solvent. Alumina, zirconia, magnesia, etc., are used as the ceramic powder and a mixture, etc., of an acrylic copolymer having carboxyl group and an ethylenic unsaturated group in the side chain with a photoreactive compound (e.g. benzyl acrylate) and a photopolymerization initiator (e.g. benzophenone) are used as the photosensitive resin composition. The resultant green sheet is capable of readily forming via holes or through holes with a good accuracy.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the titled material for directly producing the printing plate by providing on a substrate a layer which contains as a main constituent a reaction product of the reaction between an organic polysiloxane terminated by OH groups and a resin containing an average of at least two OH groups per molecule. CONSTITUTION:The plate material is provided on the substrate with the layer containing (A) 1-50wt% of the organic polysiloxane terminated by OH groups and (B) 99-50wt% of a high-polymeric substance or a mixture of such substances which contain an average of at least two OH groups per molecule and are selected from the group consisting of phenolic resin, urea resin, alkyd resin, melamine resin, unsaturated polyester resin, epoxy ester resin and vinyl copolymer resin. The printing plate is produced by depositing an ink-receptive toner in an imagelike manner on the layer which is backed with the substrate and contains the reaction product of the reaction between the component A and the component B as the main constituent.
