Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone terminal that can reproduce distributed contents data independently of its device model. SOLUTION: Original music data used for a ringer melody are generated (step S11), the original data are converted into distribution data with a standardized distribution format, and how the distribution data with the converted distribution format are reproduced in the telephone terminal is confirmed (step S12). The distribution data generated in this way are stored in a storage mans to generate a database (step S13). This database is distributed as a mail or an extension function called a common gateway interface(CGI) provided to a server is called to access the database and the data are downloaded. The telephone terminal downloaded with the data converts the format of the distributed data into a format specific to the device model of the terminal and the terminal can reproduce the data.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the data to evaluate the way of singing of a singer with respect to the intrinsic singing melody information given by a MIDI message by executing singing evaluation in accordance with the degree of deviation of a singing value from a reference value with respect to a prescribed sound element in accordance with the output of a comparing means. SOLUTION: A level and pitch detecting means 12 captures the voice signal of the singer converted by a microphone 10 and analyzes the level data and pitch data thereof. The level data obtained as a result of the analyses is outputted to a level difference detecting means 13 and the pitch data to a pitch difference detecting means 14, respectively. The level difference detecting means 13 compares the level data from a MIDI input means 11 and the level data analyzed by the level and pitch detecting means 12 and outputs the level difference data to the level difference terminal of the MIDI input means 11. The singing evaluation is executed in accordance with the degree of the deviation of the singing value from the reference value relating to the prescribed music elements.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic playing device (KARAOKE, or orchestration without lyrics, device) capable of outputting stereoscopic KARAOKE sound signals in a simple constitution by using conventional music data.
SOLUTION: Playing sound signal formation parts 18a and 18b of two front and back systems are provided. Music data are outputted as they are to the part 18a of the front system and sound signals similar to the conventional ones are formed. Sound data are changed by reducing velocity or prolonging reverberations and are supplied to the part 18b of the back system with the delay of a fixed time. Thus, the same musical sounds but with slightly different waveforms are formed in the part 18b of the back system, and by outputting them from the 4 channel speakers, wide-spread stereoscopic playing sounds are outputted.

Comparator sections 502a, 503b respectively compare the pitch data and sound volume data extracted from the respective singing voice signals and the pitch data and sound volume data of the guide melodies of the parts corresponding to the respective singing voices and rates the singing ability with respect to the respective singing voices. Namely, the comparator section 503 compare the singing voices from the microphone 17a and the guide melodies of main vocal parts, thereby executing the rating. On the other hand, the comparator section 503b compare the singing voices from the microphone 47b and the guide melodies of the chorus parts, thereby executing the rating.

The DSP 10 shifts the pitches of the respective vocal signals obtained through the microphones M1 and M2 according to the sad pitch shift quantity, and the signals obtained from pitch shifters 103 and 203 are added to the vocal signals.
