Abstract:
There is described is a belt cleaning blow-off device having a streamlined inner surface. In one embodiment a fluid outlet nozzle is connectable to a conduit of a blow-off device for cleaning a belt filter. The nozzle comprises a housing having an inner surface and outer surface, wherein the inner surface defines a fluid entry zone to receive fluid into the nozzle and an elongated gap for directing fluid towards the belt. The inner surface is streamlined to facilitate flow of the fluid into the gap. In a second embodiment, the blow-off device comprises a housing connectable to a fluid source and having an inner and outer surface. The housing defines a conduit for transporting the fluid within a channel, wherein the inner surface defines a surface of the channel and an elongated gap for directing the fluid towards the belt. The inner surface is streamlined and typically teardrop-shaped to facilitate flow of the fluid into the gap.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a laundry machine, comprising: a tub (120) for receiving wash water; a drum (130) rotatably provided in the tub (120); an air supply device (160) provided at an upper part of the tub (120) for heating air discharged from the tub (120) and introducing the heated air into the tub (120); and a cooling water supply device (300) to supply cooling water to a rear inner surface of the tub (120) such that the rear inner surface of the tub (120) forms a condensing surface to generate condensed water.
Abstract:
A seal (15) is brought into contact with a filter media (F1), a filter pump (P2) is operated to start filtration, and a signal from a pressure sensor (25) is received. When a predetermined value is exceeded by the signal from the pressure sensor (25) , the filter pump (P2) is stopped, the seal (15) is separated from the filter media (F1), and take-up of one section of the filter by a filter collection roll (11b) is started. In finishing filter supply from a filter supply roll (11a), drive of a motor (11a) is stopped, and an alarm signal is transmitted. If the supply is not to be finished, one section of the filter (F1) is taken up by the filter collection roll (11b), and the next stage of filtration is entered.
Abstract:
A separator prevents microplastics from entering the environment by regenerating the pressure consumption of filters for removing microplastics in effluent from any source but in particular removing microfibers from washing machine wastewater. The separator separates microplastics from an effluent and includes: a chamber with an inlet and an outlet, a sieve structure forming a permeable barrier between the inlet and the outlet to filter the effluent, the sieve structure thus having an inlet side for unfiltered effluent and an outlet side for filtered effluent, wherein a bypass conduit is provided between the inlet and the outlet to provide an alternative route for effluent in the event that the flow of fluid is impeded.
Abstract:
A regenerative filter that includes a filter housing having inlet and outlet zones; a fluid path provided between the inlet and outlet zones; a plurality of filter elements each having an outer surface filter media applied thereto and functioning to filter particulate or contaminants from the fluid path. The filter elements are disposed in an monolithic array. An inlet port arrangement is disposed at the filter housing leading to the inlet zone and is constructed and arranged to direct the fluid path into the filter housing in a manner so as to maintain a controlled turbulence at the inlet zone. The inlet port arrangement comprises a pair of inlet ports that are arranged in juxtaposition at the inlet zone and each having one end where the fluid flow enters. Embodiments that are considered as falling under the scope of the present invention include 1. Single inlet/two or more outlets; 2. Two or more inlets/single outlet, or 3. Two or more inlets and two or more outlets.
Abstract:
A nozzle for a filter cleaning system has a stub portion having an inlet opening and an outlet opening, and a splitter portion positioned downstream of the stub portion. The splitter portion has deflector surfaces arranged to direct the airflow exiting the stub portion outlet in 3 or more different/separate airstreams each of which airstreams are directed inclined axially outwardly from the axial direction of the airflow exiting the stub portion outlet opening. The various parameters of the splitter nozzle portion can be tailored to provide required jet shape and entrainment characteristics. A beneficial feature of the nozzle designs is that jet entrainment and recombination of flows can be specified for different shaped filters.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for self-cleaning filters without having to open the filter housing. Wash nozzles are integrated with the filter housings such that when the filters are clogged, both back-wash and regular washing can be performed with practically no down time. Moreover, without opening the filter housing, the hazardous components of the fluid to be filtered can be contained and dealt with before they escape the filter housing, thereby significantly reduces the environmental impact and harm to the working crew.
