Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tree branch cutter for small-scale horticulture which can inhibit noise during operation, easily cut tree branches and make easy its carriage and handling in maintenance and inspection. SOLUTION: This tree branch cutter is constituted of a main body member 11 comprising an insertion opening 20 for wood to be cut W1, a guide path 30 continuing to the insertion opening 20 and a discharge part 40 for the cut wood W2; a drive part 50 disposed inside the main body member 11; and a cutting part 70. The drive part 50 includes a crank mechanism part 60 connected with a drive motor 51 through a reduction gear part 52. The cutting part 70 has a slider 71 which reciprocates by the crank mechanism part 60 and a blade 76 which is arranged at the tip of the slider 71 and advances to/recedes from the forward part of the guide path 30. Abstract:
A yard waste collection and processing system comprises a motor and a housing which includes an inlet for receiving the yard waste and an outlet for discharging the yard waste. The system also includes a rotor which is operatively disposed in the housing and operatively connected to the motor for rotation thereby, and a base which is adapted to operatively support at least one of the motor and the housing.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a combined device which is used to treat and pack garden waste, enabling hard branches and shrubs to be fed to a pressing device, together with soft waste such as grass from lawns, leaves and similar, with a bag connected thereto. The hard items are comminuted in the comminuting device (1) by cutting tools (5) and are transported via the opening (6), like soft waste, into the pressing device (2) where they are pressed with the aid of a pronged rotor (8) and the prongs (9) thereof into a pressing channel (11) which is formed by a stripper (10) and the channel wall (20). A curver (21) guides the pressed items into the bag holder (16). The support trough (21) discharges the suspended filling sack (17). The driving action is provided directly onto rapidly operating cutting tools (5) at a high motor speed and, via demultiplication, onto the more slowly operating prong rotor (8).
Abstract:
An apparatus for disintegrating waste matter comprising a holding area for holding waste matter, and a fluid delivery mechanism (104) for applying high pressure fluid to the holding area, wherein the high pressure fluid disintegrates the waste matter and applies a force sufficient to hydromechanically sever the waste matter. The holding area includes a container bin (102) having a bottom surface and an outer wall. Alternatively, the apparatus is a hand held device. An outlet port is coupled to the bottom surface, wherein the disintegrated waste material exits the container bin via the outlet port.
Abstract:
An improved brush chipper (10) having an upper feed control member with stop, forward, neutral, and reverse positions also has a lower feed stop member (31) with selectable sensitivity. Another aspect of the invention is to predict the feed roller shutoff point according to the rate of engine deceleration. According to another aspect, when the feed rollers stop feeding material into the cutters, to overcome drag on the cutters, a controller stops the feed rollers and then reverses them for a short time, and then reverses the rollers again if the problem is still present.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a vegetable product shredding apparatus comprising means (5) supplying vegetable products (20), a part ejecting (7) shredded vegetable products and an intermediate chamber (6) comprising a rotor (12) secured to several blades (10, 11). The rotor has several blades (12) in a plane perpendicular or inclined relative to the rotor pin (2) and at least another blade (11) offset about the rotor pin (2) and parallel thereto. The blades (10) are arranged into at least two rows of blades. Preferably, one row of blades (10a) is inclined in one direction and another row of blades (10b) is inclined in the other direction.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a waste processing machine, which processes any kind of agricultural or vegetable waste and converts the same into the animal feed, thus enabling the recovery of said wastes. Our machine comprises a grinder (1), which is fastened on a chassis (6) and includes the boiler (1.1), boiler cover (1.2) and the grinding blades (1.3); the loading helices (2) that transfer the vegetable or animal wastes to be processed, present in the loading hopper (3), into the boiler; the discharge helix (4) that transfers the finished product dried and brought into flour form from the boiler into the discharge hopper (5) for the purpose of sacking or packaging; the motor and reducer assembly (7, 8) that provides the necessary actuation for the boiler and a control panel that performs the control of the entire system, it also comprises the steam collection hopper (12) that collects the steam emerging during the drying of the waste inside the boiler, a steam turbine (10) that operates on the steam coming from the steam collection hopper and a steam generator (11) that generates the electrical energy by means of the motion of the steam turbine.
Abstract:
A waste processing system includes a cutting system and a feed system, wherein the improvement relates to a safety and control system which comprises a foot actuated actuator having at least two operable positions, wherein the actuator is in communication with the waste processing system and is adapted to selectively control the operation thereof.
Abstract:
Cellulosic biomass is reduced to a micropowder with particles having average diameters below 5-10 micrometers with a significant fraction of the particles have diameters below 1 micrometer. Biomass (e.g., wood, agricultural waste or other plant materials) is first processed into pieces having a maximum diameter of about 10 mm. This is then dried to reduce its water content to no more than about 15% by weight and introduced into a disruptor which reduces the particle size to about 1 mm. Next the biomass is processed with a disc mill where edges of rotating discs travel along a groove pressing and squeezing the biomass, thereby breaking the biomass pieces into smaller and smaller particles. The resulting micropowder is extremely susceptible to enzymatic or chemical hydrolysis into constituent sugars. In addition, the micropowder can be suspended in an air stream and burned directly to provide heat to boilers and similar devices.
