Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tree branch cutter for small-scale horticulture which can inhibit noise during operation, easily cut tree branches and make easy its carriage and handling in maintenance and inspection.
SOLUTION: This tree branch cutter is constituted of a main body member 11 comprising an insertion opening 20 for wood to be cut W1, a guide path 30 continuing to the insertion opening 20 and a discharge part 40 for the cut wood W2; a drive part 50 disposed inside the main body member 11; and a cutting part 70. The drive part 50 includes a crank mechanism part 60 connected with a drive motor 51 through a reduction gear part 52. The cutting part 70 has a slider 71 which reciprocates by the crank mechanism part 60 and a blade 76 which is arranged at the tip of the slider 71 and advances to/recedes from the forward part of the guide path 30.
