Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method and an elevator system, in which a passenger gives elevator calls with a personal terminal device. An elevator car is allocated to the passenger on the basis of an elevator call, the maximum time from the moment of giving the call to the moment the doors of the allocated elevator car will close on the call-giving floor is calculated. The aforementioned maximum time is sent to the terminal device of the passenger for being presented to the passenger on the terminal device.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and apparatus. In the method a determining a first position of a user of a mobile node is determined at a first time instant. A second position of the user of the mobile node is determined at a second time instant. A time difference is determined between the first time instant and the second time instant. A walking speed of the user is determined using the time difference, the first position and the second position. A third position of the user of the mobile node is determined. A walking time required for the user to reach at least one elevator is determined from the third position based on the walking speed of the user. An elevator call and the walking time are transmitted to an elevator call control node.
Abstract:
Provided is a group management control device for elevator in which the occurrence of useless waiting time and lateness for boarding is reduced even when there is a difference in the distance from a hall call registration device to each car. For this purpose, the group management control device for elevator which manages a plurality of elevators as a bank includes a hall call registration device, a walking time prediction section which predicts the walking time of a user on the basis of the distance from the hall call registration device to each of the elevators, and a hall call assignment section which decides an elevator to be assigned to a hall call on the basis of an evaluation value calculated by using the predicted walking time. The plurality of elevators which are managed as a bank are divided into a plurality of groups according to the distance from the hall call registration device. The walking time prediction section predicts the walking time for each group by using the same value preset as the distance for the elevators belonging to the same group.
Abstract:
An elevator system includes a group control device controlling a plurality of elevators as a group, a security gate mounted with a personal identification device that identifies a passing user and issues identification information, an access control device that issues validation information based on the information about the user included in the identification information, a communication device transmitting a service floor call registration request for each user to the group control device based on the validation information, an assignment controlling function that is provided on the group control device to determine the elevator assigned pursuant to the service floor call registration request for each user, and issue assigned elevator information for each user, and an assigned elevator notification device installed on the security gate to notify each user of the assigned elevator information.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a response time calculation unit calculates a response time of each of the cars required when the car stop call is assigned to the car. An assignment control unit assigns the car stop call to the optimum car, based on the response time of each of the cars. A car load calculation unit calculates a load value of each car at the time when each car starts from a registration floor of the car stop call after responding to the call. A boarding possibility determination unit determines, for each car, whether the user can get on the car or not, by comparing the load value with a preset capacity value. A registration control unit performs control to assign the car stop call, including a second and later responses to the registration floor of the car stop call, based on a determination result of the boarding possibility.

Abstract:
An elevator system is provided with a remote hall call registering device by use of which an elevator passenger performs a hall call registration in a position at a prescribed distance from a hall. A moving time comparison device compares the predicted moving time Te of the elevator car with the predicted walking time Tw in the case where the floor on which a remote hall call registering device is installed is set as a parking floor. A standby operation go/no go determination device makes a determination as to whether or not to perform a standby operation based on the result of the comparison of the moving time comparison device, and carries out a standby operation after responses to all calls have been finished only in the case where the standby operation go/no go determination device made a determination to the effect that a standby operation should be performed.
Abstract:
In an elevator control device in which, when a verified person is authenticated as a registered person by an person authentication device, a security gate is opened to enable the movement into an elevator hall, even when a user cannot ride on an assigned car for some reason after passing through the security gate, the user is enabled to use an elevator. For this purpose, a hall destination floor registration device is provided in the elevator hall so that the user who is present in the hall registers his/her destination floor. A destination call is always registered automatically interlocking with the security gate, and when a predetermined condition is met, the destination floor registration of user made using the hall destination floor registration device is validated.
Abstract:
An intelligent destination elevator control system streamlines the efficiency and control of destination elevators. The system monitors a building's population and predicts elevator traffic conditions. The system may monitor attributes of the destination elevators. Based on the monitored data, the system may generate a data structure that renders time-tables and target elevator service quality parameters that may control the destination elevators.
Abstract:
A control system for elevators is provided with a landing call registration device provided at each of landing floors so as to be operable thereat, a landing call automatic registration portion for setting that one of the landing floors at which the landing call registration device is operated as a car call floor and registering a car call to stop one of cars at the car call floor, a response selection portion for selecting that one of elevator apparatuses which responds to a registered car call as a selected elevator, a passenger traveling time period calculation portion for setting that one of elevator doorways of the selected elevator which is provided at the car call floor as a selected doorway and calculating a passenger traveling time period corresponding to the selected doorway, and an opening/closing control portion for controlling the opening/closing operation of the selected doorway based on information from the selected elevator and information from the passenger traveling time period calculation portion. When the selected doorway is already in a door-open state at the time of registration of the car call, the opening/closing control portion continues to hold the selected doorway in the door-open state until the passenger traveling time period elapses after registration of the car call.
