Abstract: In some implementations, a system may receive, from an augmented reality (AR) device, a set of images captured during an AR session. The system may detect a plurality of features included in the set of images. The system may identify an item, from a list of items, that corresponds to the object based on at least one feature of the plurality of features. The list of items may identify one or more characteristics that are expected to correspond to the plurality of features. The system may identify one or more noncorresponding characteristics of the item based on determining that the one or more characteristics do not correspond to the plurality of features. The system may determine a noncorresponding value associated with the one or more noncorresponding characteristics and may provide an indication of the noncorresponding value associated with the one or more noncorresponding characteristics.

Abstract: A method for monitoring at least one wheel of a vehicle includes acquiring an image of the at least one wheel of the vehicle by using a camera that is secured to the vehicle; identifying at least one visual feature of the wheel on the image; detecting at least one parameter of the at least one identified feature; determining an actual position of the camera relative to the wheel; obtaining a corrected parameter on the basis of the actual position of the camera; and determining an operation state of the wheel on the basis of the corrected parameter. The present invention also relates to a system for performing the method according to the invention and to a vehicle including the system.

Abstract: A parking facility employs an entrance camera and an exit camera to identify vehicles entering and exiting the parking facility in order to manage parking events. A secondary camera is located remote from the parking facility and nearby a hotel, restaurant or other venue where there exists a valet or check-in area. Each of the entrance, exit and secondary cameras are networked with a central computing system. Vehicles passing by the secondary camera are identified and a temporary parking permit for the parking facility can be quickly established based upon the data collected by the secondary camera so that hourly charges are not incurred when the vehicle parks in the parking facility.

Abstract: A vehicular airbag control system includes a forward-viewing camera and a radar sensor disposed at a vehicle. The vehicular airbag control system, responsive to processing of image data captured by the forward-viewing camera, detects an object present exterior of the vehicle and estimates mass of the detected object. The vehicular airbag control system determines speed of the detected object relative to the vehicle based at least in part on processing of radar data captured by the radar sensor. The vehicular airbag control system determines severity of potential collision between the vehicle and the detected object based at least in part on the estimated mass of the detected object and the determined speed of the detected object relative to the vehicle. The vehicular airbag control system inhibits deployment of an airbag of the vehicle based at least in part on the determined severity of potential collision.

Abstract: A system for providing situational awareness to a cyclist or other user of a micromobility vehicle comprises a stereo camera assembly and processing logic configured to determine, based on images acquired by the stereo camera assembly, a distance between the cyclist and an object of interest (e.g., a vehicle). In some examples, the system is configured to produce an audio indication in response to a threat exceeding a threshold threat level. A software platform may be configured to store and/or process micromobility data gathered from one or more users.
