Abstract:
A fluid tank has a housing that has an upper end wall, a side wall, and a lower end wall that together define a cavity. A flexible diaphragm is connected to the side wall within the cavity and separates the cavity into an upper portion, which is sealed to contain a pressurized gas, and a lower portion, which is sealed to contain a pressurized fluid. An indicator is positioned in the upper wall of the housing and has an indicator arm and a visual indicator. The indicator arm is not visible and the visual indicator is visible with the indicator in a first position and the indicator arm is visible and the visual indicator is not visible with the indicator in a second position.
Abstract:
Provided is a portable cylinder including a tank having an upper portion having a valve port, a mounting collar coupled to the upper portion of the tank, and a handle attached to tthe mounting collar. the mounting collar has an upwardly extending portion surrounding the valve port and a plurality of circumferentially spaced tabs extending radially outwardly from the upwardly extending portion, wherein a respective gap is formed between adjacent ones of the plurality of circumferentially spaced tabs. The handle includes a shroud portion including a plurality of circumferentially spaced ledges for abutting an underside of a respective one of the plurality of circumferentially spaced tabs, and at least one tab for engaging the mounting collar in one of the gaps, and a handle portion extending from the shroud portion and having one or more areas for grasping the handle.
Abstract:
An electrical cover for a terminal block of a device is provided that protects the terminal block from risks associated with stray wires. The electrical cover retains desired wiring in a connection space of the terminal block while also guarding against other stray wiring from entering the connection space.
Abstract:
Provided is a handle assembly for a cylinder. The handle assembly includes a shroud configured to attach to a collar of the cylinder to surround a valve port of the cylinder, the shroud having a first plurality of circumferentially spaced deflectable fingers extending downward in a first direction, and a second plurality of circumferentially spaced deflectable fingers extending upward in a second direction, and a handle configured to attach to the shroud, the handle having a body configured to surround and abut the shroud, and a first plurality of circumferentially spaced openings extending through the body. The first plurality of circumferentially spaced deflectable fingers are deflectable to engage respective openings in the collar to attach the shroud to the collar, and the second plurality of circumferentially spaced deflectable fingers are deflectable to engage a respective one of the first plurality of circumferentially spaced openings in the handle.
Abstract:
Provided is a foot ring secured to a tank having a collar, The foot ring includes a base having an inner and outer surface, a central portion, and an outer peripheral portion, a plurality of circumferentially spaced deflectable longitudinal lock tabs extending around the base for securing the foot ring to the tank, and a plurality of circumferentially spaced deflectable rotational lock tabs extending around the base for preventing rotational movement of the foot ring relative to the tank. Each of the circumferentially spaced deflectable longitudinal lock tabs have a first projection and a catch extending from the first projection for engaging a flange of the collar, and each of the circumferentially spaced deflectable rotational lock tabs have a second projection configured to be received in a respective notch in the flange.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an expansion tank having an internal cavity separated by a flexible diaphragm to form an upper pressurized gas portion and a lower pressurized fluid portion, and an indicator positioned at an upper part of the expansion tank in communication with the contents of the upper pressurized gas portion. The indicator is configured so as to display a first color if the operating conditions are normal in the pressurized gas portion, and a second color if the amount of moisture detected in the pressurized gas portion greater than or equal to a predetermined amount. Further disclosed is a method for detecting whether there is an excessive amount of moisture in a pressurized gas portion of an expansion tank by allowing pressurized gas from the pressurized gas portion to come into contact with the indicator, and viewing the color displayed by the indicator. As such, the tank can be simply visually inspected to determine whether there is a potential failure in the tank.

Abstract:
A pressure vessel is provided including an inner tank formed from a tank liner surrounded by a wound layer of composite filaments. A protective jacket is disposed on the inner tank that facilitates stacking and portability of the pressure vessel and helps to define an air passage for convective heat transfer between the hybrid tank and the environment.
Abstract:
A stand for supporting a pressure vessel includes a body having an upper wall and a sidewall extending downwardly from the upper wall, an aperture defined in the upper wall configured to permit passage therethrough of a fluid conduit, the fluid conduit being in fluid communication with the pressure vessel, and a locking element provided in connection with the body configured to engage the fluid conduit when in a locked position to inhibit removal of the stand from the pressure vessel.
