The present invention relates to a pressure vessel (1) for a high pressure press, wherein the pressure vessel comprising a first sub-cylinder (4), a second sub-cylinder (6), pre-stressing means (8), and a securing member (16). The first and the second sub-cylinders (4, 6) are axially connected to form a cylinder body (2) for enclosing a high pressure medium. The first sub- cylinder (4) is in an outer wall provided with a first seat (22) for receiving a first part (24) of the securing member (16) and the second sub-cylinder (6) is in an outer wall provided with a second seat (26) for receiving a second part (28) of the securing member (16). The securing member (16) is fitted in the first and second seats (22, 26). The securing member (16), and the first and second seats (22, 26) are arranged such that the securing member (16), and the first and second seats (22, 26) cooperate to prevent separating axial movement between the first and the second sub-cylinders (4, 6). The pre- stressing means (8) is provided around the envelope surface of the cylinder body (2) such that the cylinder body (2) is radially pre-stressed and such that the securing member (16) is locked in the first and second seats (22, 26).

The present invention relates to a pressure vessel (1) for a high pressure press comprising at least a first sub-cylinder (4) and a second sub-cylinder (6), which are axially connected to form a cylinder body (2) for enclosing a high pressure medium, and a sealing arrangement arranged at the inner wall of the cylinder body for sealing the joint (3) between the first and the second sub-cylinder (4, 6) against leakage of the pressure medium. The sealing arrangement is comprising a ring shaped sealing band (18), a first circumferential protruding flange (30), which is arranged on the inner wall of the first sub-cylinder and which axially extends from the joint (3) and away from the second sub-cylinder (6), and a second circumferential protruding flange (32), which is arranged on the inner wall of the second sub-cylinder (6) and which axially extends from the joint (3) and away from the first sub-cylinder (4). The sealing band (18), in mounted position, is located concentrically within the first and the second protruding flanges (30, 32) such that it in a radially pre-stressed manner abuts against the first and second protruding flanges (30, 32) and sealingly overlaps the joint (3) between the first and the second sub-cylinder (4, 6). The sealing arrangement further comprises a first circumferential mounting space (51), which is arranged in the inner wall of the first sub-cylinder (4) and which axially extends from the first protruding flange (30) and away from the second sub-cylinder (6), for facilitating exchange of components of the sealing arrangement.

The invention relates to a forming tool for forming sheet blanks in a diaphragm press (1) of the kind comprising a openable, closed pressure chamber (4), which is divided in a gas and liquid tight manner by means of a flexible diaphragm (5). The forming tool (6) is adapted to be arranged on one side of the diaphragm and a sheet blank (11) to be formed is adapted to be arranged between the forming tool and the diaphragm. The opposite side of the diaphragm is adapted to be pressurised by a fluid being supplied at high pressure to cause the flexible diaphragm to deform and, thus, the sheet blank to be pressed against the forming tool. The forming tool (6) comprises an elongate cutting and flanging tool (7) along at least part of its periphery and/or around an intended opening in the sheet blank (11). The cutting and flanging tool (7) has a cutting edge and is displaceable, with the aid of actuating means, in an elongate slot in the forming tool towards and away from the plane of the diaphragm (5). At a first pressing pressure, the sheet blank is caused to be cut off against the cutting edge and, as the pressure is continuously increased, the cutting and flanging tool is caused to be displaced into the slot in the forming tool, so that the peripheral edge of the sheet blank is deformed towards the interior of the slot during forming of a flanged edge.

The present invention relates to a high-pressure press (10, 120) , which press comprises a pressure vessel (12) surrounded by a force-absorbing press frame (14) . The high-pressure press also comprises detection means (34, 64) for detecting changes in length of at least one column (16, 122, 124) comprised in the press frame, the changes in length depending on the pressure inside the pressure vessel. Said detection means comprise a limit switch (68) which is adapted to detect if the change in length of the column has reached a threshold value and, in that case, interrupt a pressing operation in progress and reduce the pressure inside the pressure vessel. The invention also relates to a method for pressure-related monitoring of a high-pressure press.

The present invention relates to a press of pressure cell type and a method for manufacturing a press body part. The press body part comprises a number of plate-shaped lamellar means having the planes of the plates oriented parallel to the planes of the plates of the adjacent lamellar means. Each lamellar means has a through hole which has the same centre axis as the hole of the adjacent lamellar means. Prestressing means which induce a compressing prestress acting in the planes of the plates are arranged on an external edge surface of the main part of the lamellar means. The invention also relates to a lamellar means of a press body part.

The present invention relates to a press plant (10) with a press (12, 90) of pressure cell type, into which a tray device, which defines a space intended to receive a workpiece and, optionally, a forming tool, is insertable. The tray device comprises a tray plate and a tray frame. The tray frame is adapted to independently withstand, at least in certain portions loads applied during the pressing operation. The tray device is divisible into at least an upper part and a lower part. The invention also relates to a method and use of a tray device in a press plant.
