Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plating method by which adhesive strength between a substrate composed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and a plating layer can be improved without using harmful substances. SOLUTION: The plating method for applying metal coating to the basis material composed of aluminum or aluminum alloy comprises the following steps: an etching step where etching treatment is applied to the surface of the cleaning-treated basis material by the use of an active acid treatment solution composed essentially of hydrochloric acid to form fine etch pits in the surface of the basis material; a plating step where metal coating layer is formed on the surface of the basis material where the above etch pits are formed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building material, in which the warpage after painting is small and which has a high weatherability and durability. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method, a method for forming a composite material by bondingly fixing a wooden veneer on the surface of a plate-like base material is improved. The veneer, the moisture content of which is held in a state to be low, is bonded through an adhesive with a heat resistance to the base material under heat and pressure and coated with a low curing shrinkage stress type paint. The moisture content of the veneer is held below 5%, desirably 2% or less. The curing shrinkage stress after the cold cure of the paint is set to be 50 N/cm2 or less.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To artificially culture Pachyma hoelen to readily obtain Pachyma hoelen by culturing the Pachyma hoelen without burying raw wood in the soil, inoculating spawn of a sclerotium of Pachyma hoelen having a constant quality in a bag or outside of a bag by obtaining a sclerotium of the Pachyma hoelen in the bag by a specific method. SOLUTION: In this artificial culturing method of Pachyma hoelen, a spawn 1 is inoculated under a condition of sterilizing by charging a raw wood 2 shortly cut in round slice in a bag, or a condition not sterilized, and the spawn is cultured, then a sclerotium is obtained in the bag without burying the raw wood 2 in the soil. In the case, without burying the raw wood 2 in the soil, a hypha is elongated and the raw wood 2 is taken out from the bag and cultured to obtain a sclerotium, and the raw wood 2 can be a tree of Pinaceae or a conifer such as cryptomeria or Japanese cypress.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a recycling operation without the need of removing cellulose even when a polyester is mixed with such cellulose as rayon or cotton and enabling the cellulose to be separated and reused along with treating the polyester at relatively low temperatures. SOLUTION: This recycling operation is carried out through the following process: a polyester A in a material to be treated is selectively dissolved in a solvent capable of dissolving only the polyester (pref. hexafluoroisopropanol or the like) to separate the cellulose B contained in the above material, and the polyester A is then deposited with a solvent, a poor solvent for the polyester A (pref. water or chloroform or the like), and recovered. For suppressing the viscosity of the polyester-dissolved liquid, it is preferable that a dilutive solvent slight in lowering the solubility of the polyester A in the good solvent is mixed in this good solvent.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve operational problems and enable nitrogen removal performance to be improved by conducting nitrogen removal (membrane separation nitrogen removal) at a level of a single body apparatus by using a membrane container in which hydrogen donors are enclosed as a nitrogen removal bioreactor of a cartridge-type. SOLUTION: Water containing nitrate and methanol 2 provided from the outside are membrane-separated in the water containing nitrate. The methanol 2 is allowed to permeate through a membrane 11 to activate a denitrification reaction on a biofilm generated on the surface of the membrane 11. A nitrogen removal bioreactor X includes a membrane container 1 made by forming a polyethylene membrane material 11 into a bag or a tube and in which the methanol 2 is enclosed. The methanol 2 can be supplied from the outside. The nitrogen removal bioreactor X is provided as a cartridge able to be used repeatedly as a single body.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a nitrogen component and/or a phosphorus component in wastewater by utilizing a growing process of water plants planted in a pot in a method for cleaning water by water plant cultivation. SOLUTION: Seedlings of water plants 4 having high absorbing ability for nitrogen and/or phosphorus are planted in a pot 1 (or a planter) and located in a water course or a water flowing-in place of eutrophic wastewater and cultivated to remove a nitrogen component and/or a phosphorus component in the wastewater. Each of the water plants 4 used for planting is Cyperus parificus Ohwi Phragmites japonica, or Iris preudacorus L. and soil is 'Hyuga'- earth.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the massive multiplication of good asparagus seedlings by utilizing a system for inducing adventitious bud-forming calluses from the multibud body of an asparagus to form adventitious buds high in the regeneration rate of the plant bodies. CONSTITUTION:The multiplication method including a system for containing adventitious bud-forming calluses from the multibud body of the asparagus comprises inducing a multibud body from the young stem shoot apex tissue of an asparagus field strain, inducing adventitious bud-forming calluses from the multibud body, forming the adventitious buds, inducing the adventitious buds into seedlings, and subsequently raising the seedlings. Herein, either of a method requiring the dividing transplantation of the multibud body of the asparagus after the induction of the multibud body and a method utilizing adventitious buds directly induced and formed on a multibud body subcultured in a rotation culture state as such can be selected for the induction of the adventitious bud-forming calluses from the multibud body of the asparagus and/or for the formation of the adventitious buds.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the releasing performance of a deep product or a three dimensional casting mold and to improve the film strength and the durability by coating the reaction type release agent capable of changing the hardened surface of the resin to be hydrophilic or lipophilic. CONSTITUTION:A releasing film which is reacted and solidified and excellent in the releasability is generated by directly coating the release agent on the surface of a model. The reaction type release agent is mainly composed of the resin having the reactive monomer such as the acrylic resin, the urethane resin or the like, and shares the film strength and the durability. The release agent is secondarily composed of the compounds having the functional group having the reactivity with these resins and the lipophilicity of the vinyl group or the like, hydroxyl group and the hydrophilic group consisting of its derivatives at the same time, playing the role to adjust the surface property. The sub-composition of 0.5-10 pts. is added to the resin of 100 pts. as the main composition.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight heat- and wear-resistant material easy of material design and having superior hardness and high strength. CONSTITUTION:This material is a combined material prepared by combining impurity-containing titanium dioxide with aluminum or aluminum alloy to intermediately form an unreacted dual-phase structure and controlling the progress of hardening reaction by means of successive heat treatment in a solid phase region of matrix. Moreover, a specific element as an impurity to be doped in titanium dioxide has an ionic radius larger than that of titanium ion (Ti ) in oxide, and further, its weight ratio to titanium dioxide is regulated to >=0.001% expressed in terms of its oxide. At this time, the volume percentage of the impurity-containing titanium dioxide is regulated to 3-70%, and the impurity in the titanium dioxide is one or plural specific elements selected from the group consisting of potassium, sodium, calcium, barium, strontium, cesium, rubidium, etc.
