    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a part of molten metal from splashing to the inside of a package during welding by providing a ring which is partially squashed by a metal cap to shield a welding part and the inside of the metal cap to an inner peripheral side of the welding part of the flange part and a stud of the metal cap. CONSTITUTION:A resin ring R for preventing molten metal from splashing is provided between a stud 1 and a metal cap 2. Since a flange part 2a of the metal cap 2 and the stud 1 are pressed during welding, the resin ring R is deformed. Therefore, a clearance between the stud 1 and the flange part 2a of the metal cap 2 is buried and a projection 1a and the flange part 2a of the metal cap 2 are welded successively. It is possible to prevent a part of the molten metal from splashing to the inside of the package in this way.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To adjust the height of a static pressure bearing and to change damping characteristic by using a second movable body that is another member for the pocket forming part of a movable body. CONSTITUTION:A movable body 6, an upper pad 7, a pre-loaded bolt 8, a lower pad 9 and a first pocket 10 are provided on a static pressure bearing 3 supporting a horizontal vibrating stage 1. A second movable body 20 that is another body is formed at a part of the movable body 6. A second pocket 92 is formed at the lower surface of the movable body 20. Pressure oil is supplied into the pockets 10a and 92 from a pressure-oil feeding source 11. Oil chambers 66a and 66b are formed between the upper and lower surfaces of a flange part 20a of the movable body 20 and between projections 64 and 64 of the movable body 6. When the pressure oil is supplied into the oil chambers 66a and 66b through a servo valve 21, the movable body 6 is moved in the up and down directions in response to the pressure difference. The space between the movable body 6 and the movable body 20 is adjusted, and the height of the upper surface 61 is adjusted. A controller 25 controls the servo valve 21 and controls the pressure oil which is supplied into the oil chambers 66a and 66b. Thus, the rigidity of the bearing 3 is lowered, and the damping performance can be improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To accurately detect an angle of rotation by setting the detection voltage of a 2nd magnetic detector above or below a specific voltage when a magnet passes on a couple of magnetic sensing elements of a 1st magnetic detector by the rotation of a rotating body and its detection voltage crosses a reference voltage value. CONSTITUTION:The 1st magnetic detector (a) obtains the detection voltage V1 when the magnet 21 passes through the magnetic sensing(MR) elements 22 and 23. The 2nd magnetic detector (b), on the other hand, operates similarly, but the MR elements 25 and 26 deviate in arrangement, so their detection voltage V2 is out of phase by almost 90 deg.. For the purpose, the voltage V2 is compared with a constant voltage Vref to detect a range where the constant voltage is exceeded, and a detection permission signal is generated in the range. Then when the permission signal is generated, the point of time when the voltage V1 crosses V0 is measured and it is decided that the observation point is the passing point of the magnet 21. Therefore, when the detector (a) performs detection, the detection result is judged from the detection state of the detector (b). Namely, when the output V1 crosses the voltage value V0, it is confirmed that the output V2 is larger than the voltage Vref.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely perform growth of crystal within a limited short time by providing a heater to a soln. side and providing a cooler to a crystal side in the device which is provided with a means for isolating seed crystal from the soln. until this soln. is brought into contact with seed crystal. CONSTITUTION:A crystal growing device 1 is utilized to perform growth of crystal in a soln. 20 in which seed crystal 50 is utilized in a fine gravity experiment loaded on a rocket. A partition 13 for an isolating means of the inside of a crystal growing vessel 10 shared with an optical observation window is descended. The soln. 20 is filled into the inside of the partition 13. Then the seed crystal 50 is stuck on the inner surface of the vessel 10. Electricity is conducted to a heater 31 for heating the soln. and the temp. of the soln. 20 is regulated to the temp. higher than saturation temp. Thereby deposition of crystal is prevented. After vibration and shock have become quiet when the rocket is launched and lifted, cooling of the seed crystal 50 is started by a cooler 55 for cooling the seed crystal. The seed crystal 50 is cooled at the temp. lower than saturation temp. of the soln. 20. Thereafter the partition 13 is ascended and the soln. 20 is brought into contact with the seed crystal 50.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of an attitude control error during a satel lite separation operation by providing a latch arm for constraining a hook body with the seat surface of the arm and the hook body engaged with each other, is provided while one end of the latch arm pressing and fixing a satellite to a rocket, and so constituting the hook body as to be pulled toward the rocket with a cable. CONSTITUTION:In the constitution wherein a satellite 01 and a satellite separa tion part body 02 are connected to each other with coupling bolts and separate nuts respectively at four positions equally divided circumferentially, and each latch device 1 is provided at the external surface of the connected part, the latch device 1 is so made that the hook 3 thereof is pulled as fastened to the side of the separation part body 02. Namely, a bracket 4 is secured to the external surface of the separation part body 02 just below the separation plane A of the satellite 01 and the separation part body 02. A latch arm 2 and the hook 5 are respectively fitted to the bracket 4 pivotally with pins 5 and 6, thereby energizing one end of the arm 2 to be separated from the satellite 01 with a spring 8, and the hook 3 to be released from engagement with the latch arm 2 via a spring 9.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable creation of an environment of the same temperature and high humidity separately from an environment at a temperature and humidity set with a culture device in a chamber thereof by combining a respective specified wick composed of metal fiber with airtight bag, binder and case body. CONSTITUTION:A case body 1 has a space for housing a sample 6 (high temperature) therein and mounting a wick 3, which is fixed to the inner surface of the case body 1 with bands 7. The wick 3 is previously soaked with water. The sample 6 is then placed in the case body 1 and a lid 2 is closed to respectively fix pieces of Velcro(R) (hooks) 8 to pieces of the Velcro(R) (loops) 9. In this state, the case body is housed in a chamber 12 of a culture device 10, which is then operated. If the water-containing wick 3 is stored, the wick 3 is placed in an airtight bag 4 and the mouth of the bag is fixed with a binder 5 so as to prevent the water from diffusing by evaporation of water and external force. In humidification tests, the wick 3 is taken out of the bag 4 and mounted on the inner surface of the case body 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To remove gases from liquids even in an agravic environment by forming a liquid conduit with a porous membrane of liquid-repellent material, sealing the exterior of the membrane by means of a chamber, and reducing the pressure therein to such an extent that reduction in the pressure does not exceed the breaking pressure of the liquid flowing through said conduit with respect to the porous membrane. CONSTITUTION:A liquid conduit 6A is formed using a porous membrane 6 of liquid-repellent material, while the exterior of said membrane 6 is sealed by means of a chamber 7, whereby the pressure in the chamber 7 is reduced to such an extent that reduction in the pressure does not exceed the breaking pressure of the liquid flowing through the conduit 6A with respect to the porous membrane 6. That is, bubbles can be removed from the liquid in such a condition that gases are mixed into said liquid by virtue of differences in surface tensions. Consequently, gases can be removed from liquids by means of a lightweight device of simple construction in a gravity-presenting environment or in an agravic environment as well.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to block only the passage of harmful electro-magnetic waves effectively without decreasing the transmittance for an incident light signal by providing a shield plate having an opening part whose size is smaller than the specified ratio of the wavelength of an electromagnetic wave whose transmission should be blocked. CONSTITUTION:A sensor has the following parts: a shield plate 3 which is arranged in an optical-sensor main body 1 and has an opening 4 whose size is about 1/2 or less of the wave length of an electromagnetic wave whose transmission should be blocked; and an optical system which condenses a light signal inputted from an opening part 4 of the sensor main body to the size of the opening of the shield plate 3 and passes the signal through the opening 4. An incident light signal 6 is condensed through an objective lens 2 and reaches a detecting and processing part 5 through the opening 4 of the shield plate 3 without attenuation. The electromagnetic wave which is intruded through the opening 4 of the sensor main body is drastically attenuated when the electromagnetic wave passes through the opening 4 of the shield plate which is set at the value that is about 1/2 or less of the wavelength of the electro magnetic wave. The reaching of the electromagnetic wave to the detecting and protecting part 5 in the sensor main body 1 is effectively blocked. Thus, interference on the detecting and processing part 5 is prevented.

CONSTITUTION:A strip body 2 is fitted at an arm 12 in such a way as to be vertically linked with a tip part H, and the arm 12 and the strip body 2 are set in such a way that the length of the strip body 2 is equal to the distance between the developing rotation axis O of an developing object 1 and the rotation axis O' of the arm 12, and the distance between the center of the rotation axis O' of the arm 12 and a strip body fitting point H is equal to the distance of the developing object 1, that is, a quadrangle formed of the developing object 1, the strip body 2, the arm 12 and the distance between the rotational centers of the developing object 2 and the arm 12 is set to have equal opposite sides. The moment, around the rotation axis O of the developing object 1, of the tensile force acting upon the strip body 2 is balanced with the rotational moment, around the rotation axis O, generated by the self-weight of the developing object 1 so as to cancel the influence of gravity acting upon the developing object 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of deterioration of the performance caused by displacement from a focus of a primary radiator by setting an angle made by a principal axis of a parabola for constituting a reflecting mirror and a rotation axis for rotating this parabola to other value than 90 deg., and executing a conical beam scan by the primary radiator arranged on a focal line. CONSTITUTION:A reflecting mirror 1 is formed as a part of the curved surface obtained by a fact that a part of a parabola is rotated in the periphery of a rotation axis 5 being on the same plane as the parabola. In this state, by setting an angle made by a principal axis 4 of the parabola for constituting the reflecting mirror 1 and the rotation axis 5 for rotating the parabola in the periphery to other value than 90 deg., a conical beam scan is executed by a primary radiator 2 arranged on a focal line 6. In such a way, the conical beam scan can be executed without deflecting the primary radiator 2 from the focal line 6, and without being accompanied with deterioration of the performance such as a beam width fluctuation, etc.
