Abstract: A turbo fan and an air conditioner having the same are provided to improve performance of the turbo fan since a positive pressure surface of a blade is flat. A turbo fan includes a rotary plate, blades(20), and a shroud. The rotary plate is connected to a driving unit. The blades are radially arranged on the rotary plate. The shroud is ring-shaped and faces one surface of the rotary plate. A positive pressure surface(20a) of the blade on the front side in the rotation direction of the rotary plate is flat. A negative pressure surface(20b) of the blade on the rear side in the rotation direction of the rotary plate is convex.

Abstract: A ceiling type air conditioner is provided to reduce thickness of an air conditioner while reducing a noise by forming passages appropriate for the slim air conditioner. A main body has an inlet and an outlet(13). A duct(11) is installed in the main body for forming passages(21a,21b) where air moves. A ventilating fan(20) is installed in the duct for generating ventilation power. A heat exchanger(14) transfers heat of air drawn by the ventilating fan. A scroll(30) constitutes a part of the duct, formed in a surface surrounding the ventilating fan to discharge air from the ventilating fan smoothly. A stabilizer(40) defines an inlet part(20a) drawing in air and an outlet part(20b) discharging air at the ventilating fan, preventing vortex from generating at a border(31) of the inlet part and the outlet part. The shortest distance(L1) between the scroll and the ventilating fan, and the shortest distance(L2) between the stabilizer and the ventilating fan are 5-8% of a diameter of the ventilating fan.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for mapping color gamut between different types of devices are provided to prevent generation of a contour as in color gamut mapping of the related art HPMINDE(Hue Preserved MINimum Delta E) and also prevent reproduction of a paled pure color due to color gamut mapping as in the related art SGCK(Sigmoidal Gaussian Lightness mapping, Cuap & Knee). The color of a source device is converted into a color space having lightness, chroma and hue data(S300). Abstract: A turbofan is provided to reduce boundary layer separation between a pressure surface and an intake surface of a blade and thus to reduce generation of vortex and noises due to the boundary layer separation. A turbofan includes a drive motor, a rotary plate(11), a plurality of blades(12), and a shroud(13). The drive motor is connected to a center part of the turbofan. The rotary plate is rotated by rotation power generated from the drive motor. The blades are radially disposed at an end of a front outer periphery of the rotary plate and connected to a front surface of the rotary part at their one ends. The shroud has an annular shape and is connected to the other ends of the blades. A hub(11a) connected to the drive motor is formed at a center part of the rotary plate, wherein the hub has a conical shape to guide air sucked from the turbofan.
