Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and a device for displaying a state when forming the color image are provided to inform a user of image forming color, warning situations and/or error situations by using light emitting diodes. CONSTITUTION: A device for displaying a state in the color image forming includes a data receiving part(50), an image testing part(52), first to third color determining parts(54,72,76), a first display part(56), a warning checking part(70), and an error checking part(74). The data receiving part receives data provided from the outside via an input terminal(IN). The image testing part tests whether images are formed by the input data per color, and outputs the testing result to the first color determining part as a first control signal(C1). The first color determining part determines the color of the current images in response to the first control signal and outputs the determined color to the first display part. If a warning situation is generated, the warning checking part outputs a second control signal(C2) to the second color determining part and the error checking part. If no warning situation is generated, the error checking part checks the generation of any error situation. In the other case, the second color determining part determines color of the warning situation, thereby determining the lacking color toner. The third color determining part determines color of a generated error situation according to a third control signal(C3) output from the error checking part.

Abstract: A method of processing a waiting print job of a printer is provided in which a print error occurs in a network printer system to which a plurality of printers are connected and a plurality of user computers are connected to use the printers in common. According to the method, whether a print error interrupting printing has occurred is determined (step A). If a print error is determined to have occurred in step A, a waiting print job of a printer is transmitted in which a print error has occurred to a working printer.
