Abstract: PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display panel, and a liquid crystal display having the same are provided to secure uniform cell gaps between liquid crystal cells. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate(112), and liquid crystal. The second substrate is opposite to the first substrate. The liquid crystal is interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. A sealing pattern(210) is formed to cover the edge of the second substrate, having a discharge port(220) opened to discharge surplus ink of dropped ink. A discharge control pattern(225) is formed at the discharge port of the sealing pattern to control discharge of the liquid crystal and to prevent infiltration of air, wherein width of the discharge control pattern widens as the discharge control pattern goes to an end of the second substrate.
