PURPOSE: A video call apparatus, a system thereof and a method thereof capable of a video call in case the location of a user is moved are provided to readjust and to sense each system configuration part based on a first caller and a second caller. CONSTITUTION: A video calling apparatus is capable of a video call between a first caller and a second caller. An image sensor captures the image of a first caller. A display displays the image of the second caller. A microphone captures the voice of the first caller. The speaker reproduces the voice of the second caller. A sensor(110) senses the location of the first caller. The sensor senses the original position of the first caller. A controller(170) controls a microphone in order to adjust the location of the first caller.

PURPOSE: A laser pointer position detecting method and a projection device using the method are provided to detect the position of a laser pointer displayed together with an image on a screen more accurately and simply. CONSTITUTION: A laser pointer position detecting method comprises creating a correction image of a second image to be displayed on a screen using a first image displayed on the screen and, when the second image is projected on the screen, detecting the position of a laser pointer on the second image using the correction image regardless of gray level of the pixels of the second image.

PURPOSE: An electronic device and a display method thereof are provided to control display of item contents according to item information after reading item information according to user information, thereby displaying an actual product and product information about the actual product. CONSTITUTION: An information generation unit(210) generates user information based on video data in sensing information of a sensor. A storage unit(230) stores item information corresponding to each of a plurality of items, basic information of the item and detailed information of the item. A control unit(250) reads the item information from the storage unit based on the user information. The control unit determines a display type of item contents based on the item information.

A navigation apparatus(200) comprises a path selecting unit(270) selecting an optimal path according to respective performance indexes of candidate paths, a transmitting unit(230) transmitting signals for requesting information on the next sections after a predetermined intersection before a vehicle moving along the optimal path approaches the intersection, a receiving unit(235) receiving the information on the sections, a performance index calculating unit(260) recalculating performance indexes on the candidate paths, and a path update unit(285) updating optimal paths according to the recalculated performance indexes.

An apparatus and a method for transmitting/receiving digital contents are provided to allow a reception side terminal to display a message and multimedia contents received from a transmission side terminal so that a user of the reception side terminal can recognize the current situation of a sender. An input unit(210) receives a message including characters and numbers. A status searching unit(220) searches information about the current time and position. A controller(240) extracts unique number of the first multimedia contents corresponding to the temporal information and the spatial information. A communication unit(270) transmits data obtained by combining the message with the unique number. Abstract:
A method and a system for quantitating user's fatigue strength for a three-dimensional stereo image are provided to extract a parameter which causes fatigue of a user watching a three-dimensional stereo image or a two-dimensional image and quantitate the fatigue strength from the parameter. Words which represent fatigue according to a three-dimensional stereo image are selected from a plurality of words(S10). Factor analysis is performed on the selected words to divide the selected words into groups(S20). Words included in N groups having the highest factor weight among the groups are set as a subjective parameter(S30). An estimated score for the subjective parameter is inputted while a test value of an objective parameter candidate capable of numerically representing characteristic of the three-dimensional stereo image is varied(S40). The relationship between an index with respect to each of the N groups and the objective parameter candidate is obtained using the inputted estimated score(S50). The factor weight is applied to the index to represent final fatigue strength by the objective parameter candidate(S60).

An apparatus for displaying digital contents and a method thereof are provided to group digital contents added with information about a geographical location where the contents are generated, according to the added location information, thereby offering an effective management unit for generated data. A name receiver(220) receives names of coordinates. A contents generator(230) generates digital contents inserted with contents meta data which includes at least one of the coordinates and the received names of the coordinates. A searcher(250) searches digital contents corresponding to a name of coordinates inputted by a user among the generated digital contents. A method for deciding the interest point of a mobile communication terminal user and an apparatus for providing geographic information by using the same are provided to supply the geographic information of an area where a user stays for more than a certain time, as the interest point of a user, thereby reducing power consumption caused by location measurement. A method for deciding mobile communication terminal user's point of interest comprises the following steps of: providing identification information which is received from a mobile communication repeater and is capable of identifying the mobile communication repeaters(S110); matching geographic information of a mobile communication terminal to the provided identification information when there is the same identification information as the provided identification information among identification information received in the past within a first threshold time from a point of time when the provided identification information is received(S120,S130,S140,S150); and providing the geographic information as the user's point of interest when identification information, same as the identification information to which the geographic information is matched, is provided for a second threshold time or more(S160,S170).
