Abstract: The present invention relates to a welding apparatus with a vacuum pad, more specifically, to a welding apparatus with a vacuum pad preventing a vacuum pad from being damaged by creating a vacuum without contact with a base material by installing a vacuum pad part at the lower part of a welding apparatus. The welding apparatus with a vacuum pad of the present invention includes a mobile carriage which has a driving wheel for moving to a welding subject, a torch clamp supporting a welding torch, and an X/Y sliding part for tuning by locating the end of the torch in a work area, wherein the welding apparatus including: a vacuum pad part which is fixed to a base material by installed in the lower part of the mobile carriage and creating a vacuum; a pressure measuring sensor which senses the pressure of the supplied compressed air by installed in the vacuum pad part or an air supplying line; an air supplying unit which is configured of a tank storing the compressed air and which supplies the compressed air to the vacuum pad part; a pressure controlling valve which controls the air pressure supplied from the air supplying unit according to the order transferred from the outside; and a controller part which controls the air pressure of the vacuum pad part by transferring an ON/OFF control signal to the pressure controlling valve according to the order transferred from the outside. According to the welding apparatus with a vacuum pad of the present invention, at least one vacuum pad is attached to the lower end of the welding part, and adhesion is provided, and thus, welding can be automatically performed even in the positions of flat, horizontal fillet, and vertical overhead.
