Abstract: The present invention relates to a bidirectional DC-DC converter and, more particularly, to the bidirectional DC-DC converter which provides optimum efficiency and output control regardless of the kind of loads applied to the bidirectional DC-DC converter used for a battery charging device or a system connection use. According to present invention, the bidirectional DC-DC converter operates as the shape of an LLC resonance converter or a dual active band (DAB) converter according to the characteristic of a connected load and the direction of power flow, thereby providing the optimum efficiency and output control regardless of the kind of loads connected to a primary side or a secondary side.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A phase control dimmer is provided to control a phase by driving two switching transistors according to a voltage charged to a driving capacitor. CONSTITUTION: Switching transistors(M1,M2) are driven in respectively different phases of an input voltage. Driving capacitors(C1,C2) supply a threshold voltage of the switching transistor. A diode controls the flow of a current charged to a driving capacitor. A variable resistance(R1) controls a phase of an output voltage of a switching transistor. The driving transistor is connected between a gate electrode and a source electrode.

Abstract: 본 발명은 직류 차단기에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는 전류 차단 과정에서 발생하는 아크의 크기와 지속 시간을 줄여 차단 성능을 개선하며 접점의 손상을 최소화할 수 있는 직류 차단기에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 제1 접점, 상기 제1 접점과 이격되어 있는 제2 접점, 및 상기 제1 접점과 상기 제2 접점을 연결하며 전류 차단 시 상기 제1 접점과 상기 제2 접점의 연결을 개방하는 이동 접점을 포함하는 직류 차단기에 있어서, 상기 제1 접점과 상기 제2 접점 사이에 미리 결정된 간격으로 구비되고, 각각이 상기 이동 접점과 접촉하며, 상기 전류 차단 시 상기 이동 접점과 접촉이 해제되는 복수의 보조 접점; 및 상기 제1 접점과 상기 보조 접점 사이, 및 상기 복수의 보조 접점 각각의 사이에 연결된 복수의 저항을 포함하며, 상기 전류발생 시 상기 복수의 저항을 통해 전류가 일정시간 흐른 후 상기 이동 접점이 상기 제1 접점과 상기 제2 접점의 연결을 개방하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의하면 전류 차단 동작 시 발생하는 차단 전류와 전압의 크기를 줄여 개방된 접점 사이에서 발생하는 아크의 크기와 발생 시간을 감소시키므로 직류 차단기의 차단 성능을 크게 향상시킬 수 있는 효과를 갖는다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A non-contact resonant converter with a matching transformer is provided to improve a resonant voltage gain by connecting a matching transformer between a full-bridge converter and a resonant circuit. CONSTITUTION: An AC/DC converter converts an inputted AC voltage to a DC voltage. A full-bridge converter is electrically connected to an output terminal of the AC/DC converter. A resonant circuit is connected to an output terminal of the full-bridge converter. A non-contact transformer is electrically connected to the resonant circuit. Abstract: PURPOSE: A protective circuit of an electronic ballast, and a protective circuit of the electronic ballast for a CNT planar light source using the same are provided to improve the reliability and the lifetime of a plane light source and a stabilizer by adding an electronic ballast and the stabilizer for the CNT plane light source. CONSTITUTION: In a device, a voltage supply unit(11) detects the current of an inductor, and it rectifies and filters it and change a voltage through a resistor. A lightly loaded protection unit(12) controls a flow of a voltage outputted in low load. The overload protection unit(13) controls the flow of the voltage outputted in overload. A no-load protection unit(14) detects a voltage outputted in no-load and controls the flow of the voltage. An over-temperature detects the outputted voltage in over-temperature controls the flow of the voltage. A switching unit(16) is turned on /off according each load condition.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A dimming device of ballast for driving a surface light source is provided to easily perform digital dimming by using a photocoupler and an FET for signals. CONSTITUTION: A dimming device formed in ballast of a surface light source includes a dimming part. The dimming part includes FETs for signals, resistors, and photocouplers. The resistors are serially connected to the FETs for signals. The photocouplers deliver an external signal to a gate of the FET for signals, are electrically connected to a power factor corrector of the ballast, and perform illuminance control of 2N step by controlling an output voltage of the power factor corrector.

Abstract: An apparatus for protecting a converter is provided to prevent an operation area of the converter from being shifted from zero-voltage switching domain to zero-current switching domain. In an apparatus for protecting a converter, a sensing unit(20) senses the output voltage(VO) and output current(IO) of the converter(10). A processing unit(30) processes an output current and output voltage and generates a processing voltage(VT) and a processing electric current(IT). A phase comparator(40) compares the phase of the processing voltage with that of the processing current, outputs a reference value(Q). A controller(50) controls the operation of converter according to the reference value.

Abstract: An inverter circuit for a scanning backlight is provided to reduce the number of switches to a half in comparison with a conventional full bridge circuit by basically using a half bridge circuit driven by two switches and constituting a full bridge circuit with the other half bridge circuit. In an inverter circuit for a scanning backlight, a half bridge circuit(10) has two switching devices(11,13) connected in series. A first side of a transformer(Np) and a capacitor(Cb) are serially connected to intermediate points(A,B,C,D,E) between the two switching devices. The half bridge circuits are connected to DC power(Vi) in parallel as many as the division number of a light source. Each half bridge circuit is used two times during the whole cycle. The half bridge circuit is used once as a lead leg and once as a lag leg.
