An apparatus and a method for transmitting a sound through nonlinear media are provided to reduce power consumption by using one transmitting signal through one transmitting device. A pre-distorter(101) pre-distorts a sound signal(a(t)) of an audible frequency band by considering a frequency property of a transmitting part(104) and a nonlinear medium(105). A sigma-delta modulating part(102) modulates the distorted sound signal(s(t)) into a signal(M(t)) having two signal levels. The sigma-delta modulating part processes the signals by a frequency larger than twice of bandwidth of the sound signal. A high frequency modulating part(103) generates a high frequency modulating signal(p(t)) by multiplying a carrier signal having a frequency higher than an audible frequency by an output signal of the sigma-delta modulating part. The transmitting part converts the high frequency modulating signal into a sound wave signal.
Abstract:
A human body communication system and a communication method thereof are provided to improve the performance of a function which restores a clock or data, and offer an efficient frame synchronization method in which the amount of calculation is reduced. A transmission unit(100) transmits a frame, including a preamble in which a pseudo-noise code is Manchester-encoded, to the human body. A receiving unit(300) receives the frame from the human body, performs the Manchester decoding, performs the correlation between the decoding result and pseudo-noise code, and then performs the frame synchronization based on the correlation result.

A method and an apparatus for communicating a sound wave of a human body are provided to simply and efficiently communicate data among apparatuses contacting the human body by using a phenomenon of transmitting the sound wave through the human body. A sound wave converter(120) connected to an input/output unit(110) converts an electrical signal of output data into a sound wave, applies the sound signal to a human body(10), and converts the sound wave transmitted through the human body into an electrical signal. Here, the sound wave signal applied to the human body is transmitted from a part of the human body which contacts a first apparatus for communicating the sound wave of the human body to a part of the human body which contacts a second apparatus for communicating the sound wave of the human body and input into the second apparatus for communicating the sound wave of the human body. Since the input sound wave signal is converted into an electrical signal, again, data is communicated between the first and second apparatuses for communicating the sound wave of the human body. A switch(130) is connected to the sound wave converter and input and output ports of a data processor(140). The switch switches the input/output data by changing the switch to the input port or output port in response to a control signal generated by the data processor. In a case where there is data to be transmitted, the data processor outputs a data signal having an analog or digital form to the output port in an electrical signal form. At this time, the data processor generates a control signal and changes the switch so as to connect the output port to the sound wave converter. In addition, in a case where there is a sound wave signal to be transmitted through the human body, the data processor generates a control signal and changes the switch so as to connect the data processor to the input port. The sound wave converter receives the converted electrical signal. The apparatus for communicating the sound wave of the human body according to the first embodiment of the present invention communicates data through the human body.

A system and a method for transmitting a human body using a single sound source facilitate implementation of the human body transmission system by including a sound generator in one transmitter only. A sound transmission system(30) includes two transmission units directly contacted with the human body. A first transmission unit(10) transmits the mixed signal to the human body by mixing a first high frequency signal with a sound signal. A second transmission unit(20) transmits a second high frequency signal having the same frequency as the first high frequency signal through the human body for restoring the sound signal by attenuating the first high frequency signal through interference around an ear of a user.

An apparatus and a method for providing media advertisement service using a human body communication are provided to maximize advertisement effect by downloading various contents from a medium of advertisement through the human body communication if the user contacts with the advertisement medium. An apparatus for providing a media advertisement service using human body communication comprises a conductive contact part(201) for contact with a human body, a control part(202) configured to detect human body contact of a user with the conductive contact part and acquire contents associated with an advertisement selected by the human body contact of the user, and a human body communication part(203) configured to convert the acquired contents into a signal for human body communication and send the signal to a user terminal via the conductive contact part and a user's body.

An apparatus for transmitting a reference signal to measure human body phase response characteristics in human body communication comprises a signal generator(41), a signal distributor(42), a transmitting electrode(43), a frequency convertor(44), and a wireless antenna(45). The signal generator(41) generates a reference signal to measure the phase response characteristics of a human body. The signal distributor(42) distributes the reference signal to the transmitting electrode(43) and the frequency convertor(44). The transmitting electrode(43) supplies the reference signal, distributed from the signal distributor(42), to the human body. The frequency converter(44) converts the frequency of the reference signal, distributed from the signal distributor(42), into another frequency which is different from the frequency of the reference signal supplied to the human body through the transmitting electrode(43). 본 발명은 디지털 사인 파형을 생성하는 수치 제어 발진 장치에 관한 것으로, 위상 증가분을 입력받아 사인값에 해당되는 신호와 동일하게 선형적으로 증가하는 위상값을 출력하는 위상 누산부; 위상값에 해당하는 사인값이 기 저장되어 있어 상기 입력되는 위상값에 해당하는 사인 파형 출력 주파수를 출력하는 사인 룩업 테이블; 및 상기 위상 누산부로부터 입력받은 상기 위상값에 대하여 상기 위상 누산부의 출력비트와 상기 사인 룩업 테이블의 입력비트를 맞추기 위한 잘라버림에 의하여 발생하는 위상 오차를 사전에 보상하는 라운딩 처리를 수행하여 상기 사인 룩업 테이블로 출력하는 라운딩 처리부로 구성된다. 따라서, 주파수 해상도를 개선하고 출력 스펙트럼상에서 위상 잘라버림의 효과를 감소시킬 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A method for operating an interleaver memory is provided to divide a memory area of one interleaver memory into several banks, and to store channel data in blank banks, so as to improve memory use efficiency when a plurality of subscribers access a base station. CONSTITUTION: If a writing operation is requested(1), a micro controller(10) decides a sub modulator and a modulator unit(140)(2), and reads a bank state register of a bank controller(120) to recognize locations and sizes of blank banks(3). The micro controller(10) calculates the number of consecutive blank banks and a bank of a minimum start address(4), and writes data in a bank allocation register(5). The bank state register of the bank controller is set(51). The micro controller(10) respectively stores calculated values in a frame offset register, an address offset register and a spreading factor value register of the modulator unit(140)(6). The micro controller(10) receives channel data for interleaving and sequentially writes the channel data in the blank banks of an interleaver memory(7). A frame controller of the modulator unit(140) generates a frame synchronous signal(61). If the frame synchronous signal is 1(one)(62), a memory read address and control signal generator of the modulator unit(140) generates a read address, a memory selection signal and a read signal(63), and produces a signal for reading the channel data stored in the interleaver memory by referring to the values stored in the registers(64). The channel data are read and provided to each modulator unit(140), then modulated(65). If the channel data stored in the interleaver memory are completely read, the memory read address and control signal generator generates a flag signal to notify the completion of interleaving(66).

PURPOSE: A device for mapping a TFCI(Transport Format Combination Indicator) in a wireless communication terminal is provided to use a mapper controller for generating a control signal and a mapping shift register composed of shift register blocks, thereby minimizing the number of hardware gates. CONSTITUTION: A reed muller encoder(250) encodes a 10-bit TFCI transmitted from a CPU(210) every frame through a TFCI register(220) to a reed muller code, and generates a 32-bit TFCI code. A mapper controller(300) generates a necessary control parameter by using a start slot, a TGLENGTH value, a frame boundary signal, a TFCI transmission section signal, and a TFCI transmission frequency signal. A mapping shift register(400) punches in a non compressed mode under control of the control parameter, or generates a TFCI code bit repetition pattern to TFCI-map.
