Abstract:
PURPOSE: A 2-phase weighted process cell scheduling method in an ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) network is provided to maintain the fairness of a cell service by using the scheduling of both a time stamp type and a frame type. CONSTITUTION: A weight value, a timer value, and a certain queue threshold value are set up in a plurality of channels. The minimum timer channel having the minimum timer value is retrieved among a plurality of channels. Cells of the minimum timer channel are transmitted, and a certain value is assigned to a timer value of the minimum timer channel. The maximum queue channel having the longest queue length is retrieved among a plurality of channels. Cells of the maximum queue channel are transmitted, a weight value of the maximum queue channel is decreased by 1, and a certain value is assigned to the timer value of the maximum queue channel.

Provided is a method for managing a low duty operation of a small base station. The small base station determines a low duty cycle pattern in which an available section to perform a transmission operation by activating a wireless interface and an unavailable section in which the transmission operation is not performed are repeated and supplies low duty cycle pattern information including a start offset to instruct a wireless frame in which a cycle pattern starts and the length of the available interval to a terminal.

PURPOSE: A terminal and a communication method thereof are provided to select an a multi-functional terminal which is optimized to operate as a repeater mode or a base station mode, by utilizing a base station identification (BSID) of a previous serving base station for multi-functional terminals. CONSTITUTION: A processor (132) of a multi-functional terminal is connected to a radio frequency (RF) module, and performs controls to operate in a repeater mode or a base station mode. When detecting a service of a serving base station is unavailable, the processor searches for an available base station which is adjacent to the multi-functional terminal. The processor transmits a ranging request message including a previous serving BSID of the said serving base station to an available adjacent base station. The adjacent base station selects the multi-functional terminal using the said BSID for recovering a temporary network via a terminal. PURPOSE: A multicast data transmission method and a device using the same are provided for M2M(Machine to Machine) to reliably transmit multicast data while considering usefulness of radio resource. CONSTITUTION: A connection setup part(820) receives change of transmission method from multicast to unicast from at least one terminal. The connection setup part sets up at least one connection from one terminal. A reception error is detected in at least one terminal of multiple terminals in the same group.
