펨토 기지국의 동작 방법이 제공된다. 상기 방법은 상기 펨토 기지국이 활성화되는 상태인 유효 구간(Available Interval; AI)의 길이정보(length information)과 상기 펨토 기지국이 비활성화되는 상태인 비유효 구간(Unavailable Interval; UAI)의 길이정보를 포함하는 제1 저임무 운영(Low Duty Operation; LDO) 패턴 관련 정보를 단말에 전송하는 단계 및 상기 AI와 상기 UAI의 시퀀스(sequence)인 제1 LDO 사이클(cycle)이 반복되어 형성되는 상기 제1 LDO 패턴(pattern)을 기반으로 동작하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 제1 LDO 패턴 관련 정보는 상기 제1 LDO 사이클의 시작시점을 유도하는 정보인 슈퍼 프레임 오프셋(superframe offset)을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

무선 통신 시스템에서 단말에 의한 주변 기지국 정보의 요청방법이 제공된다. 상기 방법은, 상기 단말의 핸드오버 대상이 되는 주변 기지국들을 검색하는 단계, 상기 주변 기지국들 중 상기 단말에 의해 검색된 기지국에 관한 프리앰블(preamble) 정보와, 상기 주변 기지국에 대한 정보를 요청함을 나타내는 주변 기지국 리스트 요청 지시자를 포함하는 리스트 요청 메시지를 서빙 기지국으로 전송하는 단계 및 상기 주변 기지국에 관한 식별정보 및 시스템 정보를 포함하는 리스트 응답 메시지를 상기 서빙 기지국으로부터 수신하는 단계를 포함한다.

PURPOSE: An operational method which uses a default low duty operation in a femto cell system is provided to effectively transmit a default LDM(Low Duty operation Mode) pattern of a femto cell base station in a mobile wireless connection system supporting a femto cell. CONSTITUTION: A terminal transmits network join request information to a femto BS(Base Station)(S310). Corresponding to the network join request information, the femto BS to the terminal(S320). The femto BS enters a LDO(Low Drop Output) mode(S330). If the femto BS enters the LDO mode, the terminal receives operation mode notification information from the femto BS(S340). The terminal performs UL communication(S350).

PURPOSE: A method and a device for management of a femto base station are provided to reduce inter-cell interference by minimizing the amount of information that is broadcasted by a femto cell base station even though the terminal to be managed does not exist. CONSTITUTION: A reception unit(112) receives an interval changing request from a second base station which includes a first cell and manages a second cell larger than the first cell. An interval charger(114) converts the interval of the first base station according to the interval conversion request. If the first base station is an unavailable interval, a broadcasting unit(111) does not perform broadcasting. If the first base station is a partial available interval, the broadcasting unit broadcasts only a preamble and simple broadcasting information. If the first base station is the available interval, the broadcasting unit broadcasts system information.

PURPOSE: A method for operating a femto base station based on a radio access system is provided to efficiently manage a femto base station in a wireless mobile connection system which supports a femto cell. CONSTITUTION: A femto BS(Base Station) receives the information of a mobile station which enters an idle mode(S331), and receives the information on the mobile station which enters a sleep mode(S332). The femto BS determines an LDO(Low Duty Operation) cycle(S340), and transmits to each mobile station the LDO related information including a determined LDO cycle(S351,S352). Based on the change LDO pattern, the femto base station is managed in the changed LDO mode(S360).

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for transmitting neighbor base station information performed by a macro base station in a wireless communication system are provided to efficiently transmit information about an adjacent base station for handover when a terminal performs a handover from a macro cell to a femto cell, thereby efficiently transmitting information. CONSTITUTION: A terminal(120) searches adjacent base stations which are handover targets of the terminal. The terminal transmits preamble information about a base station searched by the terminal and a list request message to a macro base station(110). The list request message includes an adjacent base station list request indicator showing a request for information about the adjacent base station. The terminal receives a list response message including identification information for the adjacent base station and system information from the macro base station.

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a paging message in a wireless communication system is provided to efficiently transmit a paging message in a hierarchical cell structure. CONSTITUTION: A second femto base station receives a paging request message, including a temporary ID, from a terminal(S241). The second femto base station stores the temporary ID in a terminal list. The second femto base station transmits a paging response message to the paging request message(S242). The second femto base station checks the temporary ID in the terminal list. The second femto base station transmits a paging message to the terminal(S244).
