Abstract:
Radio frequency identification (RFID) tags are described that include a substrate, an antenna disposed on a major surface of the substrate, an integrated circuit (IC) disposed on a major surface of the substrate, and one or more stand-alone capacitors disposed on a major surface of the substrate. The antenna may have a length less than about 2 meters between first and second ends of the antenna. The integrated circuit may have an effective capacitance less than about 1000 pF and the one or more stand-alone capacitors may have an equivalent capacitance greater than 500 pF and may be connected in parallel with the antenna and the IC
Abstract:
At least some aspects of the present disclosure feature a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag adapted to wirelessly communicate with a remote transceiver. The RFID tag includes a substrate; and first and second circuits disposed on the substrate and comprising respective first and second antennas magnetically coupled to one another. At least some aspects of the present disclosure feature a RFID tag having a plurality of RF circuits, where each RF circuit is electronically coupled to a sensing element.
Abstract:
A data communication apparatus, system, and method are described. The data communication system comprises a transceiver disposed on an entrance port to an enclosure, such as an underground enclosure. The transceiver includes a housing, the housing mountable to the entrance port, wherein the transceiver is configured to communicate with a network outside of the underground enclosure. The data communication system also includes a monitoring device disposed in the underground enclosure that provides data related to a real-time condition within the underground enclosure. The data communication system also includes a sensor analytics unit to process the data from the monitoring device/sensor and generate a processed data signal and to communicate the processed data signal to the transceiver.
Abstract:
Color sequential imaging involves illuminating, for each of two or more time-separated color fields, two or more light sources. Each of the two or more light sources emits at different wavelengths, and at least one of the first or second light sources is activated at different, non-zero current amplitudes during each of the first and second color fields. The color fields are projected via a spatial light modulator in synchronization with the activation of the at least one of the first or second light sources.
Abstract:
At least some aspects of the present disclosure feature an RF interface device. The RF interface device comprises an RF receiver, a wireless reader and an output component. The RF receiver is configured to receive power wirelessly. The wireless reader is configured to interrogate a wireless device. The wireless reader is further configured to provide power to the wireless device.
Abstract:
The disclosure generally relates to optical devices, such as interactive displays, and in particular to interactive projection displays having passive input devices. The present disclosure also provides a passive interactive input device having the ability to overcome problematic ambient interference signals in an interactive display, such as an interactive projection display.
