Abstract:
In one aspect of the invention, a graphical user interface on a portable multifunction device with a touch screen display comprises: an hour column comprising a sequence of hour numbers; a minute column comprising a sequence of minute numbers; and a selection row that intersects the hour column and the minute column. In response to detecting a gesture on the hour column, the hour numbers in the hour column are scrolled without scrolling the minute numbers in the minute column. In response to detecting a gesture on the minute column, the minute numbers in the minute column are scrolled without scrolling the hour numbers in the hour column. The single hour number and the single minute number in the selection row after scrolling the hour numbers and the minute numbers, respectively, are used as time input for a function or application on the multifunction device.
Abstract:
A computer-implemented method for displaying and managing lists on a portable multifunction device with a touch screen display includes displaying a list of items, detecting a finger contact on a moving-affordance icon, detecting movement of the finger contact on the touch screen display, and in response to detecting the movement of the finger contact, moving the moving-affordance icon and the corresponding item in the list in accordance with the movement of the finger contact. In some embodiments, at least some of the items have corresponding moving-affordance icons.
Abstract:
A portable electronic device with a touch screen display for photo management is disclosed. One aspect of the invention involves a computer-implemented method in which the portable electronic device displays an array of thumbnail images corresponding to a set of photographic images. The device replaces the displayed array of thumbnail images with a user-selected photographic image upon detecting a user contact with a corresponding thumbnail image in the array. The user-selected photographic image is displayed at a larger scale than the corresponding thumbnail image. The portable device displays a different photographic image in replacement of the user-selected photographic image in accordance with a scrolling gesture. The scrolling gesture comprises a substantially horizontal movement of user contact with the touch screen display.
Abstract:
A portable electronic device for instant messaging is disclosed. One aspect of the invention involves a graphical user interface (GUI) on a portable electronic device with a touch screen display. The GUI has a set of messages exchanged between a user of the device and another person. The set of messages are displayed in a chronological order. In response to detecting a scrolling gesture comprising a substantially vertical movement of a user contact with the touch screen display, the display of messages are scrolled in accordance with a direction of the scrolling gesture. The detecting of the scrolling gesture is substantially independent of a horizontal position of the user contact with the touch screen display.
Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to real-time communication user interfaces. In some embodiments, a computer system displays a plurality of selectable options for sharing a link to a real-time communication session via a plurality of respective communication protocols. In some embodiments, a computer system displays a selectable user interface element corresponding to a link to a real-time communication session that, when selected via user input, initiates a process to send the link to a user and displays a user interface for participating in the real-time communication session with the user. In some embodiments, a computer system displays a visual representation of a user attempting to join a real-time communication session that includes an option that is selectable to determine whether the user is allowed to participate in the real-time communication session.
Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for managing shared-content sessions. In some embodiments, content is shared with a group of users participating in a shared-content session. In some embodiments, the content is screen-share content that is shared from one device to other participants of the shared-content session. In some embodiments, the content is synchronized content for which output of the content is synchronized across the participants of the shared-content session.
Abstract:
A computer system receives, in a first messaging conversation by a first messaging application of a plurality of applications, information identifying a first shared content item. In response to receiving the information identifying the first shared content item, in accordance with a determination that the first shared content item is of a first type, the computer system automatically makes the first shared content item available within a first application of the plurality of applications, the first application is associated with content of the first type. In accordance with a determination that the first shared content item is of a second type, the computer system automatically makes the first shared content item available within a second application of the plurality7 of applications, wherein the second application is associated with content of the second type.
