Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the production cost of the titled apparatus and to prevent the sealing of foreign matters at the time of assembling, by arranging a liquid jet nozzle and a filter for filtering a liquid supplied to said nozzle while integrally forming the aforementioned nozzle and the filter. CONSTITUTION:The side of an orifice 12 provided to the righthand end side of a nozzle member 10 is arranged so as to be confronted in the vicinity of the inside bottom surface of an ink tank 13 arranged to the rear part of an ink jet head 14 and immersed in the ink 8 stored in the ink tank 13. The ink 8 in the ink tank 13 enters the nozzle member 10 from the orifice 12 and supplied to the side of an orifice 11 for emitting ink of the nozzle member 10. At the time of recording, an energy generating element 3 is driven by applying a recording pulse thereto from an electrode and, by pressurizing force generated as the result of driving, ink droplets are emitted from the orifice of the nozzle member 10.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure the prevention of intake of air and the restoration of print as well as miniaturize a liquid injector by a method wherein the supply of a liquid into the inside of an injection head is possible after more than a fixed amount of the liquid has been supplied in case where the liquid inside a liquid trap leading to the liquid injection head is below a given amount. CONSTITUTION:When pushing the first liquid trap 101 from above, a liquid flows into the second liquid trap 106, but when the pushing action is great enough, the liquid is housed from a liquid outlet 118 into the liquid housing part 123 of a liquid housing means 106. At a time when a liquid supply port 108 inside the liquid trap 103 is immersed in incoming liquid, the suction mechanism of the liquid housing means 106 is operated to form a flow of the liquid in a liquid pathway inside the head 104 by sucking it through a liquid receiving means 110 jointed with a discharge orifice at the top of the liquid injection head 104. Thus, because no trouble with the intake of air in the head occurs, the restoration of print and the supply of the liquid into the liquid trap 103 and the head 104 is secured, and also the mechanism is not so complicated, the minaturization of the liquid injector and the reduction of cost can be attained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned device which does not suck the air into a recording head and assures recovery of printing by feeding ink into a recording head after filling ink above a prearranged quantitative level inside an ink reservior connected to a recording head. CONSTITUTION:If a piston 112 making up a liquid introduction means 106 is de- pressed, first a remaining air inside a liquid reservoir 103 is sucked and a liquid is injected into the liquid reservoir 103 from a liquid reservoir 101. The liquid is sucked in through a recording head 104 after the rear end of a feed channel 107 is immersed in the liquid, air entrainment into a liquid channel inside the recording head is prevented. In addition, the pressurization action of the piston 112 is repeated according to necessity. This action results in the rising of the liquid inside the liquid reservoir 103 upto a suction port 118. However, the liquid also will be sucked in through the suction port 118, so that the liquid level inside the liquid reservoir 103 is maintained upto the height of the suction port 118.

A length S2 of a head cartridge 2B for recording on an OHP sheet P2 is selected so that the proper ink flying distance f2 for the recording conditions onto the OHP sheet P2 is formed by bringing the rear edge of the cartridge into contact with the cartridge positioning part 11.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an ink-jet recording head capable of being used to the working limit of a printing head part by providing a buffer tank which stores ink aside from an ink tank for supplying ink to a discharge port and supplies ink to the ink tank. CONSTITUTION:A buffer tank 2 is fitted freely detachably to a disposable head 1 equipped with ink supplied to a printing head. Ink in the buffer tank 2 is supplied to the ink tank of the disposable head 1 through a tube 3 for refilling. The pressure in the buffer tank 2 is always held at the atmospheric pressure by providing a port 4 communicating with the atmosphere to the buffer tank 2. It is eliminated by the above-mentioned constitution that an inkless state is caused halfway through printing and thereby printing is made impossible in the conventional method. The printing head part is effectively utilized. Further when the buffer tank is constituted of a transparent member, the remaining quantity of ink is easily detected.

Further, an ink jet recording head connection opening 1 and an atmosphere communication opening 2 are provided to the front wall 15 of the negative pressure generating member receiving part 12 and a slide plate 3 is provided to the outer surface of the front wall 15 of the negative pressure generating member receiving part 12 in a slidable manner so as to simultaneously seal or open the ink jet recording head connection opening 1 and the air communication opening 2. As a result, when the air communication opening and the ink jet recording head connection opening are opened at the time of use, ink is not scattered and no contamination is generated.
