Abstract: PURPOSE:To control a terminal equipment of a called party prior to the connec tion of the called terminal equipment to a line and to quicken the processing after the line connection by executing the processing based on a terminal instruc tion set corresponding to a subaddress value in a call setting message. CONSTITUTION:A voice reply means 3 and a voice recording means 4 are con nected to a control section 6 respectively via control lines 10, 11, and a key input means 7 having an input section to make dialing or to control the terminal equipment, an order number storage means 8 and an automatic answering mes sage counter 14 to count number of recording of opposite messages are con nected to the control section 6. The means 8 sends a prescribed processing commanded by the control section 6 and to be executed such as an automatic answering message and stores a subaddress received by an NCU 2 and a pre scribed processing corresponding to the number to make an incoming subaddress or an outgoing address number received by the NCU 2 correspondent. Then the content is set by the key input means 7.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the registration operation by providing a means receiving an address sent from an opposite party and a storage means storing the received opposite party address as an abbreviation dial or a one-touch dial signal. CONSTITUTION:When an ISDN interface 2 receives a 'call setting' message through a line 1, a control section 6 discriminates the arrival of a call to a terminal equipment 5 and sends a 'callout' message and sends a terminal equipment call signal to the extension 5 and stores a 'dial number' information element in the 'call setting' message to a relevant area of a reply terminal of a callback memory 7 upon the detection of the reply from the extension. When the talking is terminated and the terminal equipment is in idle state, the control section 6 registers the content of the callback memory by using a one-touch key 1 after the operation of setting, callback, one touch and setting in this order. Thus, a trouble of registration of a dial number is saved and mis-input is prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To average an acquisition rate of an external line by acquiring an external line not in use among accommodated external lines of a telephone exchange and keeping the quantity of acquisition for each external line in the case of forming a channel between the external line and a call request extension. CONSTITUTION:Plural telephone lines (line wires) are connected to an exchange 30 via a trunk 36 and extensions 21-26 are accommodated in an extension interface 34. The channel memory 40 is constituted to be a counter storing line acquisition rate information assigned for each external line and the acquired count is cleared for each prescribed time. Then the line acquisition number counter is incremented by one corresponding to the memory 40 when a line wire is acquired in response to a call request from extension telephone sets 1-6 or its line wire receives a call. Thus, an line wire with less acquisition quantity is selected even at the idle line automatic selection acquisition.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To output both call tones from a single sounding body by notifying a call signal in consecutive/intermittent tones respectively in response to the normality/abnormality of the state detected by a power supply detecting means. CONSTITUTION:When the capability of an equipment power supply 10 is normal and a relay 11 is operated, a call signal is detected/waveform-shaped by diodes D1-D4, the result is given to a one-shot multivibrator 8 via a photocoupler 3, a melody generating circuit 9 outputs a continuous melody tone to energize a speaker 14. When the equipment power supply 10 is abnormal such as power failure or voltage drop and the operation of the melody generating circuit 9 is disabled, the relay 11 is also disabled for the operation, a contact 12 is restored to the position of broken lines, and when a call signal comes from a line, its power allows to a call generating circuit 7 to output an intermittent electronic tone to energize the speaker 14. Thus, the single sounding body applies different incoming tone notice.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease under run or picture error due to picture data transfer delay by sending a reply signal to an opposite terminal type identification signal to a reception buffer after a prescribed quantity of picture data is received in a reception buffer in the MODEM sequence in succession to the call. CONSTITUTION:The transmission of a DSC (digital instruction signal) being a reply signal of an opposite identification signal to a DIS (digital identification signal) is awaited till prescribed quantity of picture information is received in the MODEM sequence after the call in the facsimile mode. It has been difficult in a conventional controller to send a data from a host to a communication function within 6sec after a CFR (reception preparation confirmation) or an MCF (message confirmation), but it is made possible. Moreover, it is possible to send a correct picture by providing a buffer data of a prescribed capacity or over to a communication function to be correspondent to the change in the transmission speed of the data to the line depending on the fines of the picture.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To send a correct picture by setting a line speed to a speed slower than a data transmission speed with a host so as to prevent under run or excess of filled fill bits. CONSTITUTION:The speed of a picture data transmitted from a host by the facsimile mode is decided and a picture error is decreased by setting the MO DEM speed slower than the transfer speed of the host by a digital instruction signal DCS. Especially, this method is effective when a code data of the host is communicated by using a facsimile procedure and the code data is subject to format conversion into a picture bit data and the result is sent to a facsimile equipment. When an opposite equipment is a personal computer or the like, the communication procedure of the personal computer communication or the wordprocessor communication is selected from a ROM to execute the communication. In such a case, no data format conversion is applied to send the code data.

In case when both of them are NO, a main control part 6 informs it to an operator by driving a call signal sending-out circuit 7 and sending out a call sound from a loudspeaker 8.

In this way, since the voice message showing a kind of the data communication is sent out, the other operator can connect a line to a designated communication equipment in accordance with this voice message.
