Abstract:
A pump for pumping fluid matter from a treatment site in or on a living being comprises three compartments. A motor-driven pumping element is provided for generating a negative pressure within a wound cover at or near the treatment site, and a motor for providing a driving force to the pumping element is provided in the a first one of the compartments. The pumping element is comprised in a second compartment, and a container for collecting liquid pumped from the treatment site is comprised or integrated in a third compartment. The second compartment is detachably connected to the first and/or third compartment, and the third compartment is detachably connected to the first and/or the second compartment.
Abstract:
A device for stimulating the healing of a wound comprises a separating means having a fluid inlet and a gas outlet. The separating means may constitute a collecting container for collecting fluid pumped from the wound. A pump for applying negative pressure comprises pump head and a drive unit. The pump head is connected to the gas outlet of the separating means, and the pump head is detachably attached to the drive unit, so that in use the fluid inlet of the separating means is connected to a wound cover, e.g. via a conduit.
Abstract:
A wound dressing comprising: a top layer, a first adhesive layer with a proximal surface configured for attachment of the wound dressing to the skin surface of a user, an absorbent core layer, and an electrode assembly comprising a plurality of electrodes arranged on a distal side of the absorbent core layer between the first adhesive layer and the top layer. The electrode assembly has a first part and a second part. The first part comprises connection parts of the plurality of electrodes and the second part is arranged between the absorbent core layer and the top layer.
Abstract:
A sensor assembly part for an ostomy system, the sensor assembly part including: a first adhesive layer having a distal surface and a proximal surface, the proximal surface being configured for attachment of the sensor assembly part to the skin surface of a user; and an electrode assembly including a plurality of electrodes formed on the proximal side of a support layer, and a masking element configured to insulate at least parts of the plurality of electrodes from the first adhesive layer.
