    Abstract: La invención se relaciona con un negro de humo que tiene una distribución del tamaño del agregado la cual tiene una relación de (d90-d10)/d50 de menos de o igual a 1.1. Los negros de humo son producidos mezclando aire caliente si se desea con una mezcla de gas que comprende un gas de transporte y una alimentación de negro de humo, haciendo pasar la mezcla de gas hacia un tubo quemador, quemando la mezcla de gas en las aberturas del tubo quemador, y extrayendo las llamas bajo succión junto con el aire jalado del ambiente libremente bajo succión desde el exterior, a través de un espacio estrecho, frío y llevando a cabo el enfriamiento, teniendo el espacio estrecho, frío, una relación de altura (h) a ancho (b) de 1-100, siendo el ancho (b) de 0.5 a 10 mm, y siendo la velocidad de flujo en el punto más estrecho del espacio 10-200 m/s. Los negros de humo de la invención pueden ser usados como carga no reforzante, carga reforzante, estabilizador de UV, negro conductor, pigmento o agente reductor.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a carbon black having an aggregate size distribution which has a (d90-d10)/d50 ratio of less than or equal to 1.1. The carbon blacks are produced by admixing hot air if desired to a gas mixture comprising a carrier gas and a carbon black feedstock, passing the gas mixture into a burner pipe, burning the gas mixture at the burner pipe openings, and drawing the flames under suction, together with the ambient air drawn in freely under suction from the outside, through a cooled, narrowing gap, and carrying out cooling, the cooled, narrowing gap having a height (h) to width (b) ratio of 1-100, the width (b) being 0.5 to 10 mm, and the flow rate at the narrowest point of the gap being 10 - 200 m/s. The carbon blacks of the invention can be used as non- reinforcing filler, reinforcing filler, UV stabilizer, conductive black, pigment or reducing agent.
