    Abstract: The method involves obtaining a layer structure (4) comprising cells (1). An optical material e.g. powder, is introduced in each cell until average filling levels (h1-h5). Random or pseudo-random variations of the filling levels are introduced between the cells. The variations of the levels between the cells are determined such that phase differences of visible light rays (R1-R5), respectively crossing the cells along a direction (N) perpendicular to a convex surface (S1) of the structure, present root mean square that is fourteen times less than a wavelength of the light.

    Abstract: Un procédé permet de coller sur une surface courbe d'un substrat un film fonctionnel (4) qui possède une forme initiale sensiblement plane. Pour cela, le film (4) est retenu sur une membrane déformable (1) par des moyens de liaison (2) qui permettent à des parties dudit film de glisser par rapport à la membrane lorsque ladite membrane est déformée. De cette façon, des contraintes qui sont créées dans le film par la déformation sont réduites. Le procédé est adapté pour appliquer un film fonctionnel sur une lentille ophtalmique.
