Le matériau de liaison peut être une colle ou un matériau de soudure. Il est solidifié pour relier définitivement le film de support et le film de scellement le long du contour. Un tel procédé est adapté pour fermer de façon étanche une structure cellulaire de fonctionnalisation optique d'une lentille ophtalmique, notamment lorsque ladite structure est découpée dans une feuille.

Abstract: Un procédé permet de coller sur une surface courbe d'un substrat un film fonctionnel (4) qui possède une forme initiale sensiblement plane. Pour cela, le film (4) est retenu sur une membrane déformable (1) par des moyens de liaison (2) qui permettent à des parties dudit film de glisser par rapport à la membrane lorsque ladite membrane est déformée. De cette façon, des contraintes qui sont créées dans le film par la déformation sont réduites. Le procédé est adapté pour appliquer un film fonctionnel sur une lentille ophtalmique.
