Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deproteinized natural rubber having extremely low possibility to induce allergy. SOLUTION: This deproteinized natural rubber is a natural rubber subjected to proteolysis and protein removing treatment, being characterized by that the protein content is =4,500 are not detected. This natural rubber is obtained by subjecting a natural rubber to a proteolytic treatment with an alkali protease and a protease having exopeptidase activity followed by removing the remaining proteins and the resultant proteolysis products.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an activator for plant capable of efficiently improving the plant vitality without giving damage to the plant when used in a suitable concentration by using a specific alcohol, when necessary, along with a surfactant, a chelating agent or a fertilizer component. SOLUTION: This activator for plant is obtained by including (A) a 12-24C monohydric alcohol (e.g. lauryl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, eicosanol, behenyl alcohol, phytol, oleyl alcohol or the like) and, when necessary, (B) a surfactant, preferably an ester group-containing nonionic surfactant or an ether group-containing nonionic surfactant free from nitrogen atoms, (C) a chelating agent (e.g. citric acid, gluconic acid or the like) and (D) a fertilizer component. On the above activator, the components B, C and D are preferably used in proportions of 10-20,000 pts.wt., 0-1,000 pts.wt. and 0-50,000 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover a microparticulate natural rubber from a serum obtained by centrifuging a natural rubber latex in a high yield and purity by adding a specified amount of an inorganic salt to the serum. SOLUTION: To the serum obtained by centrifuging a natural rubber latex, an inorganic salt in an amount sufficient to effect the phase separation of the microparticulate natural rubber in the serum is added, and the microparticulate natural rubber is separated as a cream. The natural rubber latex may be a common not deproteinized natural rubber latex or a previously deproteinized one. In an alternative method, the above specified amount of an inorganic salt and 0.01-10 g, per 100 ml of the serum, of a proteolytic enzyme are added to a serum obtained by centrifuging a natural rubber latex to effect deproteinization, and a microparticulate natural rubber is separated from the serum as a cream. According to this method, a deproteinized microparticulate natural rubber can be recovered. The inorganic salt is not particularly limited.
