Abstract:
There is provided a method for transmitting an uplink message, the method performed by a user equipment (UE). The method may comprise: receiving, by the UE, a request about a visited cell history; transmitting, by the UE, in response to the request, the visited cell history. Here, the cell visited history may include an identifier of a visited cell, and time information corresponding to the visited cell.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method of selectively transmitting MBMS level information and an apparatus thereof. A method of transmitting MBMS service level information in a wireless communication system for supporting a Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (MBMS), includes: determining, by User Equipment (UE), whether a received or reception interested MBMS is an MBSB necessary to be reported to a network; and transmitting, by the UE, service level information on the received or reception interested MBMS to the network through a MBMS interest indication message when the MBMS which is received or having interest in reception is the MBMS necessary to be reported to the network.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a terminal operation method related to radio link failure (RLF) in a heterogeneous network, the method comprising: measuring a quality of a serving cell using a reference signal (RS) received from a serving base station; checking whether consecutive out-of-sync indications are received a predetermined number on a physical layer channel; and running a timer related to the RLF when the consecutive out-of-sync indications are received the predetermined number on the physical layer channel, wherein the timer is scaled when a timer scaling condition is met.
Abstract:
A method for connecting with a network at a user equipment in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes steps of receiving system information from a cell; and if an uplink carrier frequency of the cell is not calculated using an band indicator included in the system information, configuring the cell as a barred cell. Also, the method further includes performing a connection re-establishment procedure with the network after configuring the cell as the barred cell, if the uplink carrier frequency of the cell is not calculated using the band indicator.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for slice-aware cell selection and reselection in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device acquires network slice information. A wireless device acquires information on a condition for slice-aware cell reselection. A wireless device keeps performing the slice-aware cell reselection considering the network slice information, based on that the condition is met.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for bandwidth part switching for a multicast session in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device receives a paging in the initial BWP, wherein the paging includes a multicast session identity (ID) for the multicast session. The wireless device establishes and/or resumes a radio resource control (RRC) connection in the initial BWP as an active BWP. The wireless device switches autonomously the active BWP from the initial BWP to the specific BWP.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a cell group activation in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a user equipment (UE) may receive an instruction to activate a cell group via another cell group. After receiving the instruction, the UE may perform a frequency band switching from a first frequency band (e.g., dormant BWP) to a second frequency band (e.g., non-dormant BWP) based on a determination to skip a random access procedure to the cell group. The UE may perform a transmission to the cell group in the second frequency band while skipping the random access procedure to the cell group.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for configuring a measurement window in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device receives, from a network, a first measurement configuration including information on a measurement window for a target cell. A wireless device performs measurement for the target cell based on the configured measurement window. A wireless device triggers SFTD measurements between a primary cell (PCell) and the target cell, based on that the measurement on the target cell is failed.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing measurement in a deactivated state or a dormant state in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device receives, from a cell group, a measurement configuration including 1) at least one measurement object, and 2) an information informing whether to perform measurement on the at least one measurement object in a specific state. A wireless device enters the specific state, wherein Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) monitoring is not performed for all cells belonging to the cell group while in the specific state. A wireless device determines whether to perform measurement on the at least one measurement object in the specific state based on the received information.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to resource coordination in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system comprises: performing registration to be registered in a first network and a second network; obtaining resource information related to radio resources used in the first network; determining report information for the second network based on the resource information; and transmitting the report information to the second network, wherein the report information comprises one or more contents including at least one of: information for at least one serving frequency of the first network; or information for UE capabilities available for the second network, and wherein the wireless device supports a total of the UE capabilities available for the second network and UE capabilities used in the first network.
