Abstract:
A method and apparatus for flushing a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) buffer in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives information on multiple resource pools from a network, selects a first resource pool among the multiple resource pools, and stores a media access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) in the HARQ buffer for transmission via the first resource pool. When the UE reselects a second resource pool among the multiple resource pools, the UE flushes the HARQ buffer.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for keeping, by a user equipment (UE), a first dual connectivity (DC) configuration in a wireless communication system. The method may include: receiving information for validation of a DC configuration, from a network, wherein the DC configuration includes the first DC configuration and a second DC configuration; determining whether or not the first DC configuration is valid in a radio resource control (RRC) resume procedure, based on the information for validation of DC configuration; if the first DC configuration is valid, keeping the first DC configuration in an RRC resume procedure; and releasing the second DC configuration before initiating the RRC resume procedure.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for allocating resources for a sidelink transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) selects a first carrier, i.e. anchor carrier, among multiple carriers, and allocates a first resource on the first carrier. The UE allocates a second resource on a second carrier, i.e. non-anchor carrier, based on an offset from the first resource on the first carrier. The UE performs the sidelink transmission by using the first resource on the first carrier and the second resource on the second carrier.
Abstract:
Provided are a method of performing measurement and a device supporting the method. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for performing measurement in a wireless communication system includes: receiving a request of establishment or resume of a radio resource control (RRC) connection from an upper layer; and performing the measurement on neighbor cell according to the request. Further, the method for performing measurement in a wireless communication system includes: receiving a paging message including identity of the UE from a network; and performing the measurement on neighbor cell, upon receiving the paging message.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for receiving handover assistance information including a list of one or more candidate target cells; initiating a first random access procedure to a first candidate target cell of the one or more candidate target cells and a first timer for the first candidate target cell, when the first candidate target cell satisfies a handover condition; and stopping trying to connect to the first candidate target cell when any one of at least the following events occurs: (i) the first timer expires for the first candidate target cell, and (ii) a number of random access trials to the first candidate target cell reaches a maximum number.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for handling of a RRC connection request message of a remote UE by a Relay UE in wireless communication system, the method comprising: receiving NAS information for establishing RRC connection of the remote UE from a remote UE which is configured to connect to the relay UE via sidelink in state that both of the remote UE and the relay UE are in RRC idle states, transmitting a RRC connection request message with an identity of the remote UE to an eNB, when a NAS layer of the relay UE triggers only service request for the remote UE; transmitting a RRC connection setup message for the remote UE to the remote UE; and transmitting a RRC connection setup complete message with the received NAS information of the remote UE to the eNB.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for performing management of different IDs in a Relay UE in wireless communication system, the method comprising: receiving information for mapping table between a set of first identifiers (IDs) and a set of second IDs from a network; receiving a UL packet, which is to be forwarded to the network, without a second ID from the remote UE identified by a first ID associated with the second ID according to the mapping table; adding the second ID associated with the first ID to the UL packet; and transmitting the UL packet with second ID to the network.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for performing sidelink transmission prioritized over the uplink transmission in wireless communication system, the method comprising: generating uplink data and sidelink data to be transmitted in a subframe; determining that uplink transmission is denied in the subframe if sidelink transmission is prioritized over the uplink transmission; and transmitting the sidelink data in the subframe where the uplink transmission is denied, wherein the subframe is one of subframes allowed for denial of the uplink transmission during a validity period.
Abstract:
A method for receiving broadcast information by a user equipment (UE) connected with a network via a relay UE in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes steps of determining whether the broadcast information stored in the UE is updated or not; transmitting a request message for updating the broadcast information to the relay UE, when the broadcast information stored in the UE is not updated; and receiving the requested broadcast in¬ formation from the relay UE or the network.
Abstract:
A relay user equipment (UE) can perform relay function between an eNodeB (eNB) and a remote UE by using non-3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) radio access technology (RAT). In an embodiment, the relay UE receives information on whether the data is to be forwarded to an upper layer of the relay UE or is to be forwarded to a remote UE or a network, and determines whether the data is to be forwarded to the upper layer of the relay UE or is to be forwarded to the remote UE or the network, according to the received information. In another embodiment, the relay UE, at a specific layer located below a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer, receives a data unit including differentiation information for control plane data, and identifies where the data unit is destined according to the differentiation information.
