Abstract:
A method and apparatus for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback based on a communication range and location of devices is provided. A first device (e.g., receiving user equipment in sidelink) receives, from a second device (e.g., transmitting user equipment in sidelink, control information including 1) a communication range, and 2) a location of the second device. The first device determines whether to perform a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback based on whether a distance between a location of the first device for the control information and the location of the second device is smaller or equal to the communication range.
Abstract:
A method and appratus for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) transmissions for configured grants (CGs) in a wireless communication system is provided. A first wireless device receives a retransmission resource for a HARQ process identifier (ID) for a CG. When a number of transmissions of a media access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) does not reach to a maximum number of transmissions, the first wireless device performs retransmission of the MAC PDU to a second wireless device by using the retransmission resource. When the number of transmissions of the MAC PDU reaches to the maximum number of transmissions, the first wireless device flushes a HARQ buffer in a sidelink process.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to channel state reporting in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a first wireless device in a wireless communication system comprises: establishing a PC5 radio resource control (RRC) connection between the first wireless device and a second wireless device; receiving sidelink control information (SCI) from the second wireless device, wherein the SCI instructs the first wireless device to perform sidelink (SL) - channel state information (CSI) reporting for the PC5 RRC connection; triggering the SL-CSI reporting; and based on that a sidelink resource for the SL-CSI reporting is unavailable and the first wireless device is configured with a mode in which sidelink resources are scheduled by a network, transmitting a signal related to the SL CSI reporting for requesting the sidelink resource to the network.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for triggering of transmission carrier or resource reselection in a wireless communication system is provided. A first wireless device reserves a set of resources comprising at least a first resource and a second resource for sidelink transmission. When (i) the sidelink transmission using the first resource overlaps with an uplink transmission, and (ii) a priority of the uplink transmission is higher than a threshold, the first wireless device clears the first resource from the set of resources, and adds a third resource to the set of resources.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for allocation of lower identifier (ID) and upper identifier (ID) for sidelink transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. A first wireless device (e.g., receiving user equipment (UE)) receives, via upper layer signaling from a second wireless device (e.g., transmitting UE), a lower ID associated with an upper ID and monitors sidelink control information (SCI) based on the lower ID and the upper ID. The first wireless device receives, from the second wireless device, a data unit scheduled by the SCI.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for selecting a resource related to communication by a first apparatus (100). The method may comprise: receiving a first information from a second apparatus; receiving a second information from a third apparatus; determining an interference level to communication between the second apparatus and the third apparatus based on the first information and the second information; selecting a resource related to communication based on the interference level; and performing communication with a fourth apparatus based on the resource related to communication.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing a handover procedure from a source cell to a target cell in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a configuration indicating that a random access procedure towards a target cell is not to be performed from a network, and determines at least one of transmission power or timing advance (TA) for the target cell.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for communicating with a machine type communication user equipment (MTC UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. A base station (BS) configures a radio frame for the MTC UE based on a duration of a frequency hopping subframe group (FH-SFG), and communicates with the MTC UE by using the configured radio frame.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing a device-to-device (D2D) operation in a wireless communication system is provided. In one embodiment, a user equipment (UE) receives a configuration of a reference timing for a cell of first carrier, based on a timing of a primary cell (PCell) of a second carrier, and performs D2D operation with another UE on the cell of the first carrier according to the reference timing. In another embodiment, a UE allocates a D2D transmission power based on an uplink (UL) transmission power for dual connectivity, and performs D2D operation with another UE according to the D2D transmission power.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for receiving or transmitting a radio frequency (RF) signal are disclosed. A method for receiving a downlink signal by a user equipment (UE) in a Time Division Duplex (TDD) wireless communication system supporting Coordinated Multi-point transmission and reception (CoMP) includes: acquiring information of a time-resource region to which a downlink signal for the CoMP is transmitted, for at least one cell, and receiving a downlink signal for the CoMP signal for the CoMP on the basis of the acquired information, wherein the time-resource region information includes a length of a time region contained in a specific subframe to which the downlink signal for the CoMP is transmitted.
